Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Competitor Accused of Cheating
Nathan's hot dog eating contest is being rocked by scandal. A report claims Nick Wehry cheated by adding to his tally five hot dogs that he never ate. In a video, Wehry is seen handling the plates but it's not conclusive that there was some sort of switch. However, the video does suggest that Wehry took multiple plates from his competitor and then returned all but one. Wehry is speaking out against the allegations and tells Inside Edition that he would never cheat.

It's actually fairly common, this is just the most obvious it's been. People used to spit out food in their water cups when it looked like they were drinking till they cracked down on that. As long as a competition exists there will be ppl who try to cheat them. Sad but true.

@@Trent_Playz Yes they did, he was banned for this contest because he was promoting another brand of hot dogs, and even worse it was vegan rubbish. As long as he does not promote them next year, then he will be allowed back.

@@marknorville4192he wasn’t banned. He took a sponsorship from Impossible and therefore he has to represent Impossible Dogs. It would be ridiculous to put him in a Nathan’s Hot Dog eating competition and have him eat something else.

@@Hellcat71782 They have been doing this competition for over 50 years and featured over 1,000 contestants, and this is the first time something like this has ever come up. So I would say they have been counting them very well. Like, literally that is an unbelievably good job at counting every year. I'm also not really sure what you're trying to argue? Your initial post makes me understand you hate America, which in unfortunate, but did you really think a youtube video about eating hot dogs was the best place to showcase your intense, burning hatred for the country you live in? Help me out here..

Ok so they need dividers to prevent this from happening which is sad but there will be a time when it’s without question someone cheats like that or an accidental plate is awarded to someone else.
