And you can see the flat earth, icewall and dome. - there is no pressure gradient, so space-vacuum does not exist. ... and passed out 10 second later.

There are 2 types of flat earthers; A) A person who has been fooled into legitimately believing the Earth is flat. They would at least acknowledge there is cause for doubt after reaching the south pole or circling the earth, etc. They would also immediately be discredited and disowned by the flat earth community especially the Type B's following this. B) A con artist who knows exactly what they are doing and are using this platform for personal gain at the expense of all the type A's. They will actively reject any attempt to put them in a position where such a compromising situation could occur, or simply deny it all after the fact. I think we all know which type this guy is.

If anything anytime they come up with some kind of model to explain a specific phenomenon. It just reveals even more problems that require even more unlikely explanations. Like how they try to explain seasons. A sun that controls it's revolution speed and size is somehow more plausible than a spinning globe earth? Trying to debate a flat earther is like playing a board game with that cousin of yours who starts making up rules on the spot to favor his particular situation. Special pleading all the way down.

I asked one, one time, what the purpose is of convincing all of us that the world is round... "Power and control" was the response after a lot of ad hominems. My quite natural response was "What power and control do they get by me thinking the Earth is round versus thinking it is flat? What would I do differently knowing the world was flat?" Complete silence after that one...

Theres no rhyme, reason, right or wrong. Studies have shown that no style is more likely to persuade, no style is more successful than another, and the method of delivery doesn't seem to many any difference. @@jjevans1693 @JJ Evans If you can't see it, that's not my problem. What Dave does here is show you why what we observe - when we look at it properly (aka doing science) bears out the fact that the heliocentric globe model is correct, despite what Nathan might try and suggest. But like Torq suggests, keep an open mind and read a book. Brian Cox' '"Universal" does a good job of explaining why we know what we know.

Or jeranism, whose vigorously announced Victoria Canal experiment (for the same documentary) confirmed the exact amount of curvature the globe model expects which he found "interesting" -- but is no longer referenced on his channel. Or jeranism, who personally proved the ISS is exactly where "they" say it is -- then deleted that video as well after presumably discovering how quick the people paying his bills are to call him a NASA shill based on the results of his experiments...

I was just looking at the almost full moon with my binoculars from my porch last night. It was so gorgeous out. I could see the obvious spherical shape of it. For me to say it isn’t obviously spherical would be a total lie from my observations. They’re just either incapable of recognizing a sphere (I would imagine some people are actually that dense) or they’re being totally dishonest.

One of the best compilations of simple flat earth debunks I've seen. Apparently, it appears, the refrain "flat earthers are even dumber than I thought" will live forever in my mind, consistently reaffirmed. Thanks.

If this your first encounter with Nathan Oakley? Nathan Oakley has a particular 'debate' style (using the term loosely). Make no claims (so can never be debunked), and attempt to debunk all opposing viewpoints with semantics, mis conceptions and outright lies. Welcome to a debate with Nathan Oakley. On a separate note, over the course of the month, there is a slight wobble that allows us to see about 59% of the moon's surface. if we can see more than half, and at all times the moon looks 'round' for all directions/perspectives, then it has to be a 3D sphere. It cannot be 'flat', it can ONLY be a sphere.

Look up "Stereoscope photos Moon". Photographers taking photos of the moon a few months apart makes use of the Moons Libration and gives a very 3D view (some better than others). If you have a VR head set (or similar) they work really well. If not, but you can cross your eyes well, then copy the image, crop and save the two halves separately, swap their positions and display side by side on a screen and cross your eyes. You will have two flat images flanking a beautiful 3D image in the middle :) The Moon looks like a ball stuck on a black background. :)
