    Mouse Hunt made me laugh hard! It was such a simple premise but for some reason it really made me laugh. They way they were tearing up that house just to kill that mouse 🐁! It was like a cartoon. And of course they kept missing and doing more and more damage until the house exploded from the water pressure. And the mouse still got away. Then they made up with the mouse and went in business. I know it’s a fantasy but it was funny! Nathan Lane is funny! When he smirks or raises his eyebrows, he makes me laugh!

    Alot of the people that now are "against" Harvey, were IN FACT...part of the problem! Meaning, HUNDREDS of actors, directors, etc...etc...that KNEW what was going on, but were afraid to stand up "because it'd hurt their career" (but who care what damage it does to other people's minds and bodies) Nathan Lane is one of the only guys I truly believe, set his ground and pretty much said: "Don't threaten me, I'm not going to negotiate my principles no matter what I lose." (something easier said, than done) and for that, I applaud him!

    Except your comment makes zero sense. If Nathan Lane allegedly “knew what was going on,” he would not have agreed to do a fundraiser for Harvey Weinstein. And, if you are saying he “knew what was going on,” and still did the fundraiser that is not an example of being principled. Telling some jokes that a producer told you to cut is neither a brave action, nor something that helps out victims of sexual assault in any way. I like Nathan Lane, but his story is not an example of standing up to Harvey Weinstein in the way you are falsely (or perhaps misguidedly) making it out to be.

    I've always been confused about Weinstein... I was in a relationship with an actress...she had an agent Before any audition her agent briefed her on the types of actors these people had hired before...the role she was trying for...the names and histories of all the people on the production team....that's what he got paid for...knowing what was going on And then post audition, call back, interview....et al They sat down and debriefed the processs...for the next audition or the next client So....the idea that some agent (who could earn 100 K if their client got a minor role in a Weinstein production) sent someone into a hotel room alone without knowing what he'd do Seems.....inconsistent with my understanding of that business

  • @chatterbox11

    @chatterbox11

    not likely Most of the Weinstein stories describe “off-the-books” meetings. I do not think anyone is claiming they went through a standard interview process, and then ended up getting assaulted. Many of the stories involve Weinstein directly asking an actress, or often aspiring actress, to meet with him. A few stories involve Weinstein barging in to an actress’s hotel room/apartment and assaulting her. For example, Annabella Sciorra says she knew Weinstein from various productions, and he had given her rides home from Hollywood parties a few times. She said he was mad at her when she declined to do a picture with him, and one night after he drove her home, he returned to her apartment and pounded on the door. When she opened it up to see why he was banging on her door, she says he barged in and violently raped her.
