+Devon Hansen It's called Canadian humour. Think John Candy, Martin Short, Mike Meyers, Dan Aykroyd, Jim Carey, Catherine O'Hara, Leslie Nielson, Phil Hartman, Eugene Levy, Norm MacDonald, Dave Foley, Rick Moranis, ... They've all done it.

Uhh... If it was scripted, why would she keep looking at the camera like she has no clue what's going on and realizes she might be getting pranked, and he was probably lying about whatever cover he used to explain having cameras in the room. My theory is he went with something like "I teach a junior college class on interpersonal communication where I document an interview so my students can see what a real job interview will look like for them. It's important for us to analyze what went right and what went wrong. This is part of my series of real world examples so I'll need to have two cameras present. Oh great, ok it will just take one moment, I do need you to sign this release form though, it's just because these videos _might_ be going into my course material and everything we use becomes the intellectual property of the school I'm employed at for legal reasons. I'm sure you understand."

@@levyloup-noe6187 youre right for sure. He isnt breaking character, hes pleased with how he nailed it. This dude is honestly a comedic savant with his ability to show awkwardness and remain in character. That 2 minutes was the hardest ive laughed in at least 6 months. My stomach muscles actually got a workout and im crying

@@xx-ph5ml They do a lot of editing and manipulating make this show. Sometimes they use actors (like the girlfriend in the tightrope walking episode). However, even then what's always true is that the people on the show (even the actors, who are generally told they're doing some other show) aren't in on it.
