I learned of her first as a conductor and thought she was exquisite. Then I found her singing. I can only imagine her piano and bassoon is beautiful. Her love and passion for music translates to this medium - a video interview - with such an incandescent joy!

She is such as consummate singer, musician and conductor. Her contralto is one one most beautiful.

maaany years ago, I had heard about her special voice and how great a singer she was. I came upon her Pergolesi CD in a used record store so I took a chance and purchased it... I had to find and buy everything she did since that moment. the new album 'Contralto' is magnificent, btw!

She's been around a long time. I purchased her recording of Handel arias in the early 1990's. Also her recording of Handel's Amadigi di Gaula. Amazingly, I think her voice has improved over the years. It's now a fuller, richer voice.

I would like to congratulate Nathalie on the great performance of the Mathew Passion with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. The passion is a very dramatic story and Nathalie imparted the beauty of Bach's music with the drama sometimes utilising faster tempos than in traditonal ineterpretrations. Jesus's singing of Christ on the Cross was very moving.

Tive o privilégio de usufruir de seu talento, competência , simpatia e generosa atenção durante os anos que foi “REGENTE CONVIDADA” da Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo, nossa OSESP Como amante de música clássica , aos 85 anos me comporto com ela como uma “fan adolescente”. Vou a todas as suas apresentações, sempre que a meu alcance e certamente . Certamente sou eu quem mais grita “Brava” ao final de cada apresentação. Compro seus disco assim que são lançados e a atormento para autografa-los. Mando-lhe flores e invariavelmente ela elegantemente vem me ver, algumas vezes exausta após uma longa regência , ainda com uma toalha branca no pescoço úmido. Escrevo em português em homenagem a seu esforço para falar nossa língua e por declarar na entrevista, seu gosto pela música brasileira. Enfim Nathalie querida, sempre que divulgo seus vídeos do KZread para meus amiguinhos costumo clama-la de : “A DEUSA DO UNIVERSO DA MÚSICA “ . I have to ask a question to Ms.Stutzmann, but I don't want to be rude : what about the wonderful ensamble "Orfeo 55" whose work in Montpellier was so precious...I was waiting for their concerts in 2019/2020 in Europe when I found out that they stopped their activity on april 2019 and this was a heartbreaking news for me as a baroque music lover! Are you going to keep on with your work as a singer and a conductor in France or in Germany or in other European countries? Will you ever come in Italy as soon? Thank you for your amazing art....and for this talk! I hope to see you in a concert!
