Nate Sexton is the best example of how to play smart and play within yourself. He’s an amazing ambassador and a great example worldwide!

We don’t deserve this man. A true family man, a gentleman, and a disc golf treasure.

I've really enjoyed watching Nates career evolve in disc golf. It's a fine wine.

Remember when the only way was to have like 5 molds and cycle a million of them to build a bag? Not that long ago every innova pro’s bag was “i putt with an aviar, i throw these 6 rocs, i have these 3 teebirds, i have these 2 thunderbirds, a firebird that is always brand new so it’s super overstable, and 17 destroyers”

Nate adds a lot of color to the sport with his english skills, really appreciate that!

Nate is just the best. Innova would be nuts to ever let him go, so hopefully he remains a great ambassador for them and the sport.

Nate always does a great job w/videos for Innova. I like how he gives tips for newer players and recommendations and such.

Papa Nate always my favorite pro on the course 💪 such a quality person

Nate's bag really mirrors his game. Simple, efficient, safe abd effective. Like if you saw this written on paper you'd think " thats a nate sexton kinda bag." Only surprising thing was only having one mid but i guess when the majority of the holes your playing require like 85% or more of your max distance a bunch of mids doesn't make sense.

I'm surprised Nate doesn't throw a Wraith. Love my Wraith.

I buy F2 Innovas. Buy them for $6-8 bucks and they last forever without losing their flight integrity

My cheat code is a Pro Destroyer. As a player with an arm speed in the low 50's I can flex it on a flat release it it actually has turn with the reliable fade. It flies for me like a regular Destroyer would for a stronger thrower.

How much are pushing with it? I quit throwing Destroyers because I feel like they were fading within 50' of leaving my hand. Within the last few months I've started re-adding distance drivers to my bag, my main is currently a PFN star Orc. I can backhand flex it 300' without issue. I found a 4x McBeth Destroyer that's like 160g but it doesn't go any further than the Orc. My max arm speed is 52 mph backhand and forehand. I can get 9 and 10 speeds like the Firebird, Thunderbird, Valkyrie to 300+ depending on how much I flex them. Curious if you think a Pro Destroyer will get me more distance.

@brytompkins for me, I can get it out past 300 without too much effort. I'm also throwing about 52mph. For raw distance I have other discs like my Westside Destiny, which I can get to 360 if I can get the nose angle right. This Pro Destroyer is most useful for me if I need to throw it up high and push a bit (as it won't immediately fade out of my hand), but still have a strong fade at the end. At the BC Open last weekend, there were a couple of holes that were long enough (450-600ft), with a left turn at the end, that I was very effectively able to push it out and turn that far away coelrner.

Bought a lightly used pro destroyer and it’s easily my furthest flying one. Has a bit more turn with the same amount of fade as a star destroyer.

I'm ready for the 2024 Sexton Firebird.

Keep being ticked by not seeing the discs fly being focused on NS, hes handsome ofc, but my mind wants the flight xD My Star Thundie is for sure OS even on 340' lines, got a pretty used GStar that is great for the slot instead :D

Always happy to see a Nate ITB. Was kinda expecting to see a Charger or two in there. Nate would be the perfect spokesperson for it, but I guess you can get by with beat in Destroyers.

i like R-Pro Pig for putting.. beat up ones for longer putts.. newer ones for short or heavy headwind putts..

i have the similar 2023 Calvin Halo Destroyer .. black rim .. blue body .. BUT GOLD lettering.. i use it for 450ft-475ft headwind hyzer flip to small turn with some fade back left

Destroyer always gets a little turn or holds Annie little bit before fading that's what I love about it. where the firebird and Thunderbird stay straight then fade

i have a super over stable Champion Thunderbird i like for hyzer flips in headwind for 330ft - 350ft

There would be no "competition". Calvin is 10 years younger & can throw 150-200 feet further than Nate.

The mouse and the ladybug…🤔 Curious to see those fly but, if they’re distance drivers for Nate, probably a lot of disc for the average me.

Not 1 wraith in the bag interesting, been loving the xcal I’ll have to try out a firebird. thinking it’ll be like a Draco but a tad less stable.

I felt like there was too much overlap between my gummy champ rhyno R-Pro Pig, Star Rat, R-Pro War Toro and glow champ Toro so ive basically ditched the Pig and Rat. I also have a disc Ive named pink lemonade, my '23 Halo Star Jerm Thunderbird. It goes from hot pink rim to a thin orange band to a yellow flight plate.

for all the Innova Junkies out there you muuuust try a Champion GLOW Teebird not teebird 3 not star but champ glow regular teebird.. that thing is the best disc ever.. it always comes out clean.. it can hover 1ft off the ground and fly far .. so darn dependable and novices in a headwind will LOVE IT

It’s a 9 speed but the rim width is .1cm smaller than most 10 speeds so it’s close enough to call it 10 speed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Corvette > Destroyer .. Corvette has the lil bit more glide but is just as accurate as Destroyer for me.. max i ever got Corvette to is 600ft normal max is around 550ft

I bought a corvette recently and it was really flippy! could just be an inconsistency thing but I can't even throw it forehand- it makes a decent flex backhand though

@@whatsreallythepointthough4048 yes i have to throw it on hyzer very high to the left and watch it flip up and ride right forever but always forward and finsih up left.. at like half speed i can throw the corvette 475ft on a hyzer flip rope low to the ground

I'm working on beating up a champ savant right now, it's a beefy boi though. My new champ thunderbird would fly straight for about 370 to 380 feet and then start fading (thrown flat), but the savant would consistently start fading around 340 to 350 feet. Ideally I want my savant to be going 400 feet and then fade, but it's gonna take a lot of tree hits to get there.

why does innova persist in not wanting to show all the discs being thrown? You're literally creating b-roll. Just let the player throw them all. It's why we're here.

@@jourdan4722 depends who you ask. I used to watch the old in the bags and the flight was what I was looking to understand. Most of the people I played with didn't have the arm speed that I had, so these videos used to give me ideas of what I would get out of discs. (I'm not a pro still but can hit mid 60's mph)

@@jourdan4722 fair, I have been playing since 2014 and it was difficult to find good coverage of some molds that weren't as popular. There also wasn't as much social media on the new molds being put out, so in the bags sometimes were first looks

Probably just a role model / mentor role as a veteran of the game for a lot of younger players. Also he’s a great ambassador for the sport.

First. A question usually ends in ?. Second, all disc manufacturers have a "team". Eventhough, they don't always play together, they represent the manufacturer. I hope that enlightens you a bit.
