To buy something that fragile at a low cost would really be hurting the pawn shop unless they can get the right collector to reach the 700$ mark. It was also in "Fair" condition with a lot of pieces missing so it would be less sought after by collectors. Id imagine they would also need a special case to put it in to keep it from getting hurt by the elements more than it already had been.

Part of it depends on what family heirlooms you have. I have two bedroom sets worth of antique furniture, an antique globe-wernicke barrister bookcase, a Victorian loveseat, and all of my grandfather's war memorabilia from his service in WW2. I also have a lot of glass milk bottles and bottle caps from his family owned dairy farm. Having the time of your life is really like being alive.
“Gotta make a living “ -has millions of dollars
i think grandpa meant it to be a asset, cashed in when need, Plus he met his mark of four hundred bucks excellent tactic achieving the goal..
Every episode they have an "expert" on the most bizarre shit😂😂. Lemme just get my buddy hes an expert on pencils😂
4:51 Shit! You shared the hell out of me!
YA Tittle threw it and I caught the game myself
I thought that little outshot was by History Channel lmao
rick is always laughing at himself and making this face like "im terrrrible" haha
I always liked the guy with Hendrix guitar Rick tried to scam off him. It's worth probably over a million but he offers $600,000. Guy tells him to get lost lol.
I’m Rick DoodleBum & this is my DoodleBum shop
Lol a month after this episode he brought in an 1871 Pinball toy 😂
I don't think the Rob Schneider tidbit was in the original show. :-) definitely my favorite
Seller: Y.A Tiddle threw a pass and I caught the ball myself. Rick: “not enough proof, let me call in an expert to authenticate this”
Knows all the history behind the game *Has to call an expert*
Rick always have this crazy laughing that looks like insulting people....hahaha
After I drink a cup of coffee, I like to show the empty mug to our IT guy and tell him I successfully installed Java. He hates me.
You can tell experts google this shit before they come. You really think that random actually knows about the difference of Life boards from the top of his head lol

giordan131 Are you just figuring this out?
Rick will be known in history... awesome rick... :)
I don't see why I'm still subscribe to this channel when they keep putting crap like this on. Pawn Stars used to be interesting but now it's just getting annoying we want to see cool stuff and Rick lose money not dumb stuff and Rick make money.

yannick yann The oldest joke on pawn stars😴. And it's Rick by the way
He could've made more money in a stop light asking for spare change and keep that history in the family. Mo*Ron's will always be mo*Ron's.

Thank god you censored moron I might have fainted
Rick:The best i can give you for that is a spit in your mouth and then a mint gum to with it. Anything more than that doesn't make any sense to me. Seller: Ye..Sounds about right. Deal!
Mr. Brown got along famously with Milton Bradley
just about to go down stairs quickly and grab some devon and come back give me a minute rick
i want 473 3 with the smile
“I’ll get nothing” 150 bucks wtf Rick Lmao
Walt jr spent all that money already. Damn!
Rick: Na i make nothing... Lol
Me gusta mas este show que el otro que se llama Hardcore pawn
Pretty sure collectors today want your pictures of Lincoln, Milton Bradley. Lol
"People had a little bit of morals back then"
Seller says it's a first edition Then expert says it's a second edition Seller agrees with expert uncontrollabley unreal
Rick should just employ those specialists
Thanks man , now get the fuck out my pawn shop so 100😅

I'm sure it was taking up valuable space in his van down by the river.
The expert said it was worth $700 I would have sold it for $550
lmfao !!! the male jigalo !!
This guy's really competitive with his son..
That's got to be a relative to Dr phinious
Was that a surprise cameo appearance of Deuce Bigalow ?
Rick is not a collector. He has bills and wages to pay. Why do people not understand business?
fun fact, nate is backpack kids dad
Anything else doesn’t make sense! Ricks favourite line!!!!
Nino! When need Nino!
Nate is having the time of his life because he’s stoned af
Wtf.? The things people buy now a days. Than again rich people are on another lvl than us regular folk.
Well at least his son is of the crystal FOR NOW!!!
No matter what you say, Rick has to have the final offer. It's a macho bullshit thing
No this is not scripted.
Some people are so stupid. Been in my family for generations. Sold for $400 zero thought of passing it down and keeping it in the family.
it bong of monopoly
1:08 - Huh. So the Simpsons quote "Daddy says dice are wicked" was actually true.
These pawn guys are good negotiators but it’s not really about who’s better when it’s a situation like this. The pawn guys have the upper hand because they have the better option, CASH MONEY! Lol. When negotiating whoever has the better option definitely has the upper hand in the negotiating.
everytime rick negotiates he sounds angry..

Where's my Chum Chum?
rick made him fool its reselling at 750
Game of life! Customer ripped off hairless beach ball 300 bucks. They sell everything old they just lie and say it's been sitting which is bullshit
I thought he was nate diaz. Bloody hell
Great grandfather in heaven: "I'm ashamed of all of you."
Family history is great...but cocaine is one hell of a drug
No, people. Just because something is old and passed-down does NOT mean it is a treasured family heirloom. I'm sure his grandparents would be happy if they knew he got $400 for that piece of junk. Most of the cards and pieces are missing, and clearly it was not a family tradition.
Hey. He did say at the beginning, he was hoping to get $400.
Rick just googles things before the camera starts. You can't know every detail about what ever item comes into the store.
Wonder how much they pay the experts every-time they call them in.
Who's Nate?
Lots of people lived to 50 back then.... problem is lots of children died and it dropped the life expectancy
Why don't they employ all there expert friends, instead of saying 'iam gonna get someone to come and look at'
Imagine having something passed down through your family for years and someone sells it for 400$
