YESSSIRRR been waiting for this, and this was the FIRST one I requested bruh! Bounce is the Big Sean joint. FYI, this video introduced his burdens (balloons) for the first time. Then he released The Search video followed by Leave Me Alone.

Again I went to two concerts on the tour of 2018 and he opened up with this song both times. ❤️❤️

You’ll learn NF hasn’t ever missed. He’s only gotten better with time. It’s just hard to remember EVERY fire song he has released because he releases too much fire. Also, this was released about a year before The Search album released that this is on so I think sometimes people just forget it. Great reaction again :)

I feel that way too sometimes. I feel like I should never take a break or I'm losing time, I'm failing, I'm not doing enough.

It's honestly so sad how geared we all are to just have to constantly be doing something when really we should take more time for our mental health

One thing that most people probably don’t realize about the video is that in the song “WHY” he mentions “I just can’t decide if I should stick my knife inside of Pennywise” while he is holding a machete. And in the music video for the song “Real” (where he is on the plane) he says “I took the machete, the game isn’t ready them rappers, they coming up on me, I cut off the ladder” while he is holding a regular knife.

Dude, when you broke down the "I could work 24 hours a day..." bar I felt that to my core(as I do every time I hear Nate say it in the song). I have the same wind down process most work days. And having a wife and 2 kids, I feel like I don't deserve any breaks I give myself and feel like I constantly need to be doing work for my job, or around my house for my family. It's rough and maybe we'll figure it out some day. 🤷‍♂️😅

This is what makes you stand out from other reactors. The “I do not need anyone to help me, lies” line is one of my favorites of his. The overarching story NF is telling is one of a trauma survivor. Hyper independence is a common coping mechanism you see a lot in former foster kids like NF and also myself. Things like that, which keep you safe in intense and scary situations in childhood, are the bad habits and breaking points of adult relationships that send us to therapy. Looking at it through that lens is what makes NF’s music so fantastic, at least to me. 😁

So it’s widely known NF is a private person I mean his Instagram/social media is pretty minimal. I’m a huge fan of his wife though and follow her too and she is more open and posts way more. One thing that just like makes me love them more is the way she respects NFs privacy. She knows he doesn’t like everything being shared all the time and will go out of her way to make sure that he’s comfortable with what she posts. The care and sincerity of their relationship is just immense, also their son is adorable as all get out. It’s something I strive for with my own husband. Anyways great video great reaction. Look forward to more in the future.

That feeling that you need to be doing something productive all the time is in many cases caused by anxiety. For Nate its probably due to his OCD. For me it's exacerbated by my OCD and PTSD. And we said generalized anxiety disorder but in retrospect it was probably exclusively caused by my OCD. For me, when I'm at rest it's very difficult to keep my thoughts in order and I am prone to obsessive thought patterns. This leads to extreme anxiety and panic attacks. The constantly being productive urge is compulsive behavior. For me, it's the only thing that quiets the obsessive thinking and keeps me from having night terrors. Mental health is no joke. I'm glad Nate is making this a conversation.
