Love hearing your Poppy stories and the fact that you threw in some GOT references..awesome. As a mom of two boys, 25 & 23, your advice on letting them have a say in room color is spot on. From what I can see you are great dads. Continue to go with your gut in parenting.

The glass coffee table was the first thing I got rid of when I had my kids. I was scared to death they would break it and get cut. 👍🏻 I let my 15 year old daughter pick her paint. She picked chocolate brown. I thought it was to dark but she insisted. One year later she said I was right 😲 so she picked out a lighter color and we repainted it. No big deal. My son pick his paint age 14. A midnight blue. I thought that would be to dark also but it's absolutely gorgeous and made the Crown molding pop. He still likes his Choice.

These fellows have a lot to give, I think they need a new or maybe different venue, maybe stalk show on tube and interview other people who are giving back and sharing their stories..Their certainly high vibe people..

My mother loved decorating the room that my sister and I shared. One of my favorites waa a mod blue and green. It was striking! When we were teens we decided our ceiling needed to be red and covered in posters. lol Did not look as great as some of Mom's ideas but my parets allowed us to do our thing.
