Why is there background music while they're talking? Annoying

i like their show....but the first 2 i saw i felt the owners were spoiled & i didnt really get much joy at watching them. the one wife who wouldnt go in the kitchen at all because she hated it....talk about passive aggressive, (dr phil would have a field day with her). & the other couple seemed to pretty much have it all & could have done it all anyway. now this show coming up...i cant wait to watch, with the home that was destroyed & finding out their daughter has to now battle cancer...i cant wait to see some joy for them. thats what i pictured this show would be... esp with nate...paying it forward to really needy families....poor...veterans...etc...because he has had tragedy in his life (losing his first love tragically) & knows real pain, loss & troubles. so hopefully the show will gear towards that more.

I've just started watching their show in the UK and I have to say I've been a bit disappointed because I thought that they'd be helping families who really needed it. Instead the ones I've seen have been couples with $40k and $70k to spend on renovations. Talk about first world problems!! I thought it'd be much more like DIY SOS. And the houses I've seen all have the same look to them when their finished - the colours, furniture and ornaments are all similar to each other. Maybe the rest of the series will be different.

I know this comment is a year old, but an episode literally just aired of them decorating a homleless shelter and they donated nearly 75000 dollars, so definitely not the case
