Not to sound prudish but I truly appreciate a comedian who’s hilarious without dropping f-bombs every minute and talking about crude things! Nate is an example of someone who is successfully funny just by talking about everyday things that people can relate to! His deadpan humor just cracks me up! 😂🤣😂. Soooo happy and proud of him hosting SNL!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

He once said people would ask him in interviews why he decided to be a “clean comedian”. He was like, “I didn’t.” He is just being himself. Like do they ask other comedians, “why did you decide to be a raunchy comedian?”

Agreed! Crude humor is cheap humor, it’s like watching a jr high kid on steroids & people laugh because it’s so awkward. It takes a true comedian to bring it clean & classy…way to go Nate 👏

I was at the Wichita show. The first minute I was like……is he drunk?!? Surely not. Then he told us the allergy story and it all made sense. Still a great show!

His delivery in the Washington sketch, the delivery that we all kinda know…..he killed it. He was so funny. So good. I’m happy for him. He seems like a good guy.

He crushed it on SNL. The monologue was great, and he had two out-of-the-park home runs with the George Washington sketch and the Soul Food sketch

@@kimclarke5018 Also…fyi…his specials are good too. The older standup (w/ the baby face) is ok, but the crowds don’t seem to “get him” yet. You can see he’s developing.

He nailed SNL. Many of the skits were the best I’ve seen in decades of the show. His stand-up shows on Prime are also fantastic.

“He was a good guy, ‘Bless his heart.’”. 🤣🤣🤣 we all know what *that* means. 🤣🤣🤣

Nate it’s hilarious! Once I saw him in his first Netflix appearance, I was hooked. Plus, he seems so genuine and with no airs. I’m so happy he’ll be on SNL. He deserves it. When my sister was going through treatment for cancer, we watched a lot of Nate and it helped both of us. Thank you!

I was at that show in Wichita and he did an awesome set! He let everyone know he was on Benadryl, but his style is pretty laid back anyway so you couldn't tell a difference. Glad he still went on and killed it!

Same here. First heard of him on an episode of Prarie Home Companion on NPR and he had me in tears. Si Happy about his success.

He was so good on SNL last night. He's gonna need a bigger venue from here on out and the tickets are going to be expensive.

I'm so happy to see Nate gain the recognition he deserves. The only comedians I know are basically whoever Conan's staff brought on to perform, and I'd take note of standouts. This one has been a long time coming! Grats Nate!

What a humble, hilarious guy. So happy for all his recent success. Well deserved.

Nate really deserves all of the recognition he is finally getting. I had tickets to a show last Feb and we got a flat tire in a snow storm and missed the show. I emailed his assistant and she told us to pick any show we wanted to attend even if it was sold out and she left my fiancé and I two tickets to the Knoxville show with better seats than I had before, and threw in two meet and greet passes. There were only maybe seven or eight people with meet and greet passes and we got to talk with Nate back stage and it was such an enjoyable memory. He was so humble and kind.

I love Nate's comedy. It’s nice that SNL recognizes his expertise.

Nate is self deprecating yet relaxed.

I never even heard of this guy until he was on SNL, and even then I didn't watch the show, just one SNL skit on KZread a couple months later. He's awesome and I'm hooked! I've been watching his videos ever since.

Nate is one of the few comedians where I can watch the same special over and over and laugh like I am watching it for the first time. The stuff he makes fun of and the way he tells stories is like the way I think in my brain when crazy, nearly unbelievable crap is happening to me or around me, because other people are doing stuff. it's like he's in my head. But funny. I can't wait to watch this!!!!

I often put on one of his specials just as happy background noise. (Similarly as with Lobby Baby). I've seen them all so many times this way that I know them almost by heart. In fact I just "replayed" the scene where Seth's baby is born in the lobby for my teenager last evening. She was cracking up at my rendition, but I realized that I have listened to that routine so many times in the background that I was delivering it to her in Seth's own words and cadence which is what made me temporarily hilarious! Lol😂

I saw him in Wichita! I would say Benadryl probably played best to his natural demeanor and delivery. Great performance!

His episode was one of the best SNL episodes I've seen in a decade. The Washington's Dream sketch is one for the books!

For the record, his monologue, after MAYBE 30 seconds, killed. I was impressed with the content AND the near-impeccable timing, allowing the humor to build to a solid climax, gave me a coughing fit that made me wonder if it might be the end this time.

I'm so happy for Nate. Hurry up Saturday! Can't wait ❤

I can't think of a better guy to get the shot. Fantastic comedian Nate Bargatze 🎉 This season of SNL feels more like the good old days when the show was funny. I'm a long time fan and haven't enjoyed it in years but stuck with it. I'm glad SNL realized it doesn't help ratings to politicize everything, just make people laugh!

Saw him live and was best I’ve been to. His dad opened for him and he was awesome! Highly recommend seeing him. Plus clean so can take anyone.

That's incredible. About 6 years ago, I was working for a comedy club in Seattle and he did a few weekends there for the standard $30/$40 tickets. He was extremely kind and fun to be around. After The Standups came out, he sold out every show when he came back to the club. But still humble and self deprecating, just as he is here. I always loved his stand up and it's awesome to see him blow up
