I interpreted the fist pump as just a reaction to how much he was cracking up over the huumba's. The audience stops laughing are quiet for 4:13 - 4:21 and seemed shocked by the kiss. I think the kiss was completely pre-planned, they're not shy about kissing on snl, a closed mouth smooch is pretty tame. I don't see Seth as nervous, but trying to keep a straight face at the huumba's and Bill crying with laughter. But hey, who knows

Lol @everyone reading waaaay more into this than it actually is.... The character Stefon has a thing for the other one and had unsuccessfully tried to 'do something' about it before and made off-color comments before. Finally got to give him a kiss (probably scripted as a short smooch that the actor turned into a bigger deal). No closeted anything, nothing between the lines. Just the actors having fun with some sexual tension between their characters. That's why the smile--it was a running gag (reflex) and as another commenter put it, Stefon's actor "won this round". That's all.

HORRAAY Stefon finally got to kiss his dream boy :) So happy for him

The 'Kevin' gets me every time.

I love these two so much. And I especially love that Seth later on (when he had Bill on his show) admitted that he's a bit 'possessive' of Stefon when he sees him with 'other men'.

What is so special about their love is the way that Seth, despite becoming reasonably exasperated with Stefon and realising that he's incompetent, still always takes time to praise his efforts and tell him he's doing a good job anyway. That's the ideal kind of partner support.
