I wish all this glass skin and dewy products were not the thing. I am 63 have crazy oily skin and yes a few wrinkles I think it is dumb to attempt a 20 year olds look on my older skin. I am who I am don’t follow a lot of trends I do what I enjoy am comfortable with and don’t look like something I am not. Love your videos have been praying daily for the person you take care of. As a care giver we can lose ourselves and be such a giver that we forget about ourselves. Please take time to care for you and live in the moment with your husband tomorrow is not promised. I am glad for your good day. All the days are hard I admire your dedication and your love for this person. Make sure you check in with you, you need to be supported and given a break don’t feel guilty when it gets to be overwhelming. I spent my final years in the work force as a certified nursing assistant I did not take my own advice. I ended up having a stroke which I had an angel their I do not suffer in a diminished capacity however it was discovered that I have a rare type of epilepsy it is difficult to treat but I am ok. I gave too much to the people I took care of I do not regret that for one minute if I helped their day that is all that mattered. You have not chosen an easy route but you have chosen one you will never regret. Take care reach out I will be there.

Wayne - I have terribly oily skin, just like you say you have. As soon as I wash and dry my face, I can actually see the oil start oozing out of my pores. I don't want anything oily/greasy on my face. I go for matte, natural, barely-there make-up - I believe less is more. I think you are a wonderfully talented teacher and demonstrator. As an added plus, you're handsome as all get out and you get better every day!!! If you have a self-effacing sense of humor, that's one thing and I think that's true with you. 😂😂 I came to say it’s giving “tin man vibes” lol. I put on the ELF Whoa Glow sunscreen the other day and same thing 😳 I figured no big deal I’m covering it with foundation anyway. Well the two did NOT play nice together and I felt like my complexion looked a mess all day 🤦‍♀️ lesson learned! Try products together at home when you’re not going anywhere and don’t care to see how they work together lol

I don’t use any highlighter anymore. I have learned the highlighter benefits do not outweigh the negatives. I have very few wrinkles and very small pores. I often get compliments on my “perfect” skin. Highlighters make my tiny pores look bigger. The thought of highlighting one’s entire face makes me cringe. This concept defeats the purpose of makeup, which is to make one look better. Thank you Wayne for your continued common sense approach to beauty.

A real lesson in knowing how to use your tools. I appreciate that they've made darker tones for darker skinned people because those tones are inevitably lacking. Love your vids Wayne!

This is a beautiful product.... But definitely is up to how it is used and the placement of it. Doesn't necessarily mean the product is faulty. By all means, if you have perfect skin all over, then use it all over, otherwise, just be judicious on where best to use it and how. I think it was meant to be placed under foundation too, to give that glow from within look. The nauseous reaction was a bit much. I do appreciate the tip in the end to use it as localized highlighter, which is what I will be using this combo for anyway. Thanks for the review Wayne!!

Yes exactly, sometimes the actual base shade of a highlighter can be darker than the reflect creating a sort of dark cast on the skin. This is technically how many duochrome eyeshadow shades are created.

The shiny side makes you look older…just how we all want to look 😂🫤

I’ve had oily/ greasy skin since my teens , I’m now 70. I avoid all the glowy/dewy products because it just looks like Ive just got out of the shower. Yuk ! I was horrified by these new products,😳😂🤣definitely not for me. Thanks Wayne 💕

I’m in my late 40’s with still very oily skin, and I really appreciate you reviewing these products from the oily skin people perspective. It’s really hard to find a good MUA in my age group who is honest and has oily skin reviewing products. BTW, I have your lipstick, face powder, eyeshadows, and a full set of your brushes, and they are AMAZING. Face powder is super finely milled and absorbs my facial oil instantly. Keep being amazing, Wayne.
