This has to be my favorite Christian song. It says alot. Because as humans we are always trying to control things and do things on our own yet we don't realize that God is our king he controls all things and we can't do anything without him. I'm not as close to him as I wish I was and I'm still young. But I hope my faith grows stronger.

This song says it all. How guilty I have been for all my Christian life trying to fit the king of the world into the box I have designed. Yet I reckon He knew I would do that. 20 years in the wilderness trying to do it my way so I could be right and so I could be in control. Time to just stop. Time to just trust one day at a time. Time to drink deeply from the water at the well of Jesus and let Him take control. Time to quit holding onto things that I can't hold onto. Time to open up my tight fists and release it all. I'm ready. I'm ready to follow Jesus. I'm ready to meet God where He is and join Him. Only when I am empty can HE fill me up.

I've been fighting cancer for a year now, and this song really hits home to me. I always feel foolish when He answers prayer and my first reaction is surprise. Then when I see how He's answered my prayers, I'm just in awe of the way He does it. We have to stop boxing Him in. There are no limits to the one who ignited the stars, spins the planets, and still has time to feed the birds and fishes. So, for us who He sent His Son for, our glory is waiting.

I heard this song for the first time in the back of a cop car in handcuffs after suffering from drugs for weeks. that night I had been through a rape, wrecking my car ans totaling it, my bf breaking up with me, the house we shared together gone. I had lost everything from drugs and God was speaking to me through this song. Thank u Lord God for the mercy I received and the love I'm not worthy of that you give me anyways.

I love Natalie Grant. I was at a concert of AMY GRANT in my hometown, Duluth, MN. Both Amy and Gary were performing in that concert and Amy announced her pregnancy with Natalie. It was so exciting. I have followed Amy since she first started singing for the Lord. I was a teenager and so was Amy when she started out. So now Natalie is singing for the Lord too.

Actually, you are being misinformed. Satan, Lucifer, was cast out by God! Remember, no sin dwelled within the world when it was created until Lucifer (who was in the Garden of Eden) convinced Eve that the fruit (Apple) will bring her another form of happiness (sin). Now, after sin entered the world, God destroyed the earth with water except for his faithful few (Noah and his family) and God promised that He will never destroy the earth by water again. However, sin was still in the world. Not sure if you remember the story of Lot! These were the days of prostitution, infidelity, homosexuality, idol worship etc. After all that (not to make the story so long), God, Himself, came down in the form of a baby through the virgin Mary. This was to restore us back to Himself. So when Jesus was born, there was news that a King had been born. King Herod, himself acknowledged that! He asked the three wise men to return and show him where the newborn King was so he could go and worship Him. So yes, Jesus is the King of the world. I will stop here for now, but will love to give you more information if you are interested. I love you with the love of Christ and pray that you will gain some clarity as time goes by.

No one is better than you this song reminds me of my sister I don't get see her any more so this song helps me a lot thank you

This so has so much meaning. Everything I don't wrong in my life is because I thought I knew more then the lord. I am so lost. Now the lord has found me and has shown me the way Through his mercy.

I absolutely love this song--every time I'm listening to K-Love I love when it plays :)

The song means so much to me right now as I try to control the impossible.

Sussannah May the Lord be with you. I have struggled my whole life in adversity. May the Lord wrap his arms around you and be with you in this life or the valley of the shadow of death. We all are living in what i call Matthew 24 days whether we know it or not. The return of the Lord is close and near. May you draw near to Jesus.
