I heard this song for the first time in church today. I started weeping at the very first word. I raised 4 little girls mostly alone. I made a lot of mistakes and have many regrets. My girls are all grown and have families of their own except for one. She is the only one that will have anything to do with me. The rest have turned their backs on me and have taken my grandchildren away from me. There are 9 of them. I miss them all so much it's unbearable at times. My girls took the kids from me because i taught them the Word of God and led several of them to Christ. I have no regrets about this whatsoever. The words to this song touched me so intensely, so deeply because I felt the arms of my Savior wrapped around me. He tells me to not be discouraged. I know He loves me. He died to save me, after all of my wretchedness. There are some things in life we never really get over. But the love of Christ keeps us standing firm. I'm so very grateful for this song. I almost didn't go to church this morning. Look what i would have missed. Jesus had the victory and I will never, ever be able to repay Him for all He's done for me. I pray in earnest for my family, every single night. I just have to wait for the Lord to answer. In His perfect timing. Never give up...

1 miss my loving wife of 37 years this song carries me

I my dad of 92 years passed last night. He died in his own bed in his home. He had a peaceful look on his face. I know he's with our Lord and savior. Mom is still with us, me and my youngest brother have been their care takers for a long time. My brother even quit his job in Seattle to move in take care of the folks, I moved back home a few years back to give him help....God's plan is always perfect. It hurts me bad that I was the last one to see him alive, I put him to bed that night....checked on him during the night. I usually got him up every Saturday morning, but we recently got home visits from the VA and she was the one who found he had passed on.😢 He's in paradise now....my Grandmother is the person I remember leading him to the Lord all those many moons ago. She probably met him at heavens gates. RIP dad....you will dearly missed.

I came from a pretty tough period and started doubting that God is with me anymore. I felt stressed and anxious about a lot of things in my life. I had a breakdown and cried to God in my bed. I had near me my phone and my earphones. Honnestly, I don't really know how Spotify started running in the background, but it did, I couldn't hear because the earphones were connected. After I finished my prayer, I picked up my phone to read something from the Bible and I noticed that this song just started playing. The title really made me courious and I put the earphone in my ear and opened the app to see the lyrics. Bursted into tears, each word matched how I was feeling and comforted me, it was like a message directly from God. Praise the Lord. Even if you feel stressed and like God isn't there anymore, He is, He knows, pray to Him, tell Him your suffering and stay faithful in your search, He will answer, I promise you, maybe not right now, but stay near Him, HE WILL Bless all of you, Praise the Lord👐

I lost my 20 year old son last May in a car accident. I have many dark days and especially dark nights. It's in those moments that I listen to this song, which reminds me of God's love. I might have heard this song before but today was the right time I lost a son 15 years ago and God has given me the strength and the comfort to deal with that situation that happened many years that's horrible tragedy 15 years ago still reminds me of that day put God in his Mercy came in my heart and gave me the strength. Today my son's daughter turns 17 his daughter birthday 🎂was a day before he passed away. GOD has seen me through some very hard times and I give him the glory for it. Once again I lean heavily on him to give me strength. Less than a year ago I survived pancreatic cancer and once again I am faced with the very same specter. My cancer has returned. With God it will be alright no matter the outcome. I hadn't heard this song in a long while, and through a tough time with depression and death and loneliness, I heard "I will carry you" inside my soul and knew it hadn't been a song I heard recently, so I looked it up. I could've broken down crying then and there. When I just want someone to look at me and see me and see all my brokenness and love me for it, this song makes me feel God's love. I can hear Him singing to me in it, even when I don't always want to admit it. God be praised, even in the midst of the storm.

I hear you! I heard this song for the first time late at night, of the day my son suddenly died in a tragic accident, 4-2-23. He had just turned 25 and he had helped to support me since he was 18. We have lived together for his entire life and though we had our struggles at times, we were very close, as we've been through so much together. My consolation is that he was a born again follower of Christ Jesus the Lord....and I have the Biblical truths of this song.....which God gave to me late that night, along with some awesome old hymns. ["It is Well With My Soul," "His Eye Is On the Sparrow," etc...]

This song is a promise to hold on from Isaiah 46:4. My 84 year old dad is battling metastatic cancer. The only one that he is clinging onto is Jesus through sickness and pain. When Jesus decides to call him home, he would have fought the good fight and run the race. I believe Jesus will not test him more than what he cannot bear. He will be so happy to see Jesus and his dear wife you passed away .

Thank you and thank God for this song too! I'm going through a terrible divorce of 30 years of being together. I do not want this and want to keep our wonderful life together. But he is leaving me to move away and I have to move and set up my own apartment. It's all so overwhelming and I cry, worry, can't sleep. But I listen to this song and it makes me remember God will carry me. Thank you and God bless you all!

This song is perfect for the situation I'm presently going through. I know I have found my soulmate but with past abusive relationships I self sabotaged the relationship. We were separated for 6 months. Now we're back together I know he's scared that I may leave again. With all the spiritual growth I've done in that time and all the pain I've healed from so I'm not in a reactive triggered state the majority of the time. I saw Ellie for the first time at Lauren Daigle concert recently. This song’s certainly the most familiar one. I cried when I heard it in car on the way back today. A guy I confessed my feelings to rejected me and basically said that he’s not interested in having anything beyond fellowship. The latter sentence just hurts so much I felt that it tears me apart. He didn’t have to say this. All he needed to say was he didn’t have the same feelings. Of course, I’ll never contact him until I die because he said this. Please don’t say anything unnecessarily when you reject a girl who likes you and goes out of the way to let you know.

An employees son carried his sick mother-in-law in his arms to see the ocean perhaps for the last time. He did not mind carrying her. Jesus carries us in the same way. What a beautiful song to remind us of that. We can rest in His Carrying.
