This definitely emits x rays. Röntgen device. And the question is how long this tube will live after it is overheated to absolute maximum and even above.

Unless he is using a 15kv or more plate voltage Xrays wont happen.

Fair enough Im not sure exacly what tubes those are but for siimilar types 1000-4000kv those are probably in the higher range. @@nickolaymiltenov

I had NAT SE1, SE2, SE3, SE2Mk2, Utopia, Xenon, Magnetic and Phono. Good sound but they all broke within 1 year. Terrible reliability, i hope you dont suffer through that.

Those are all OLD NAT designs. I've got many sold here with no problems and I use them myself every day. Problem is buying used. Who did you buy from ?

I bought them from NL Distributor, and even when I asked for help at Dejan directly, was left out cold. As far as I can see, he hasn't changed the design. I also had the transformers measured and they didn't stack up to the claims. I am happy you got no problems, but this was a disaster company for me in terms of reliability that cost me over 20k in repairs.
