OMG this is amazing juice! Great video! I recently purchased Black Afgano and requested a sample of this. Fantomas reminds of Noir De Noir but more gothic in a sense. This is magic. Full bottle worthy for sure. Love the backstory to Fantomas too. The film is interesting as is the main blue guy!

Ah, yes!

For me it's the unisex version of Duro. Personally for me I prefer Duro since it's more manly and harsh, but some might prefer this. Actually the fog machine analogy is a very good one, it does have elements too. The problem was that since for me smelled immediately like Duro I couldn't sway away from it.

I'm just seeing this now. Afgano is very special to me and the Nasomatto line is very intriguing. Almost non replaceable maybe? Contemplating trying Pardon now.

I have a sample of this coming in on Thursday! however I will save watching this for when I comes in and will hopefully smell it as you review it :) sadly couldn't tune in today due to a week full of tests :( I also recall asking you about this on IG. Possibly why you could have kept quiet 😏

​@@Persolaise I do not know how to feel about this. The opening is this gunpowderlike shiny steel cable that hangs above a fruity sandalwoody environment below (before melon note was mentioned). They melon note helps transition between the steely note to the woods. They are definitely two different notes juxtaposed on one another and I guess that crimes in normal daylight is like. Glad I only got a sample. This is quite weird to me and I don't think I'd ever spend my money on it. I think Black afghano does a more interesting take with a hint of cannabis and sandalwood. Someone mentioned bubblegum. This is like juicy fruit stored in a steel tin. edit: Now I recall what the gunpowder note is reminding me of. Habanero. I very much dislike habanero and this encapsulates the scent very well. Habanero is a fruity spicy facet and I can see how the spicy part could be made metallic in the top. As a fruiter chili it has this almost synthetic sweetness about it. This is then laid atop a a base of sweet woods. I guess melon notes could be used to amplify the fruitiness of the chili.

@@dhruvmini01 Thanks for this detailed write-up, Dhruba. I think I'm beginning to be clearer and clearer about my view of this scent, and it isn't especially complimentary. The synthetic sandalwood is way too crude, in my view.

Reminds me of Duro with melon added on top

I thought it smelled of a crime scene. I started as a firefighter and paramedic, so this was hauntingly familiar. Then I saw the pyramid of construct, and IT IS! Notes listed: plastic, rubber, "sweet notes", gunpowder, "earthy notes", caramel, tropical fruit...and the list goes on et al. I laugh even harder when I think, this was no accident - this was a decision! Great presentation of this diabolical mastermind and his "innocent" nod to human brutality. Way to jump into the deep end on your last video of the day; Fantomas is quite a blind challenge!

@@Persolaise I would agree. Although 'crisis' has a distinctive odor that is transiently interesting, the novelty dissolves quickly. Then you are just left smelling of sorrow. Also, once you peep around the ingredients' curtain, the show seems to halt - the illusion fractured. This is a modern art instillation in a sea of Renaissance. How shockingly fun! Again, its just too wonderful being able to watch at the end of my day, and much love to the Madame P - she seems phenomenal!

OK, the method to your madness please Mr. Alavi; is there a particular day of the week when you have your live streams; or is it always impromptu? A one day advance notice doesn't give the US west coast enough time to learn about your announcements. I'd love to be able to participate in these as time allows, but not sure how you schedule them.

Hi, I’m afraid there isn’t a huge amount of method, because I have to squeeze the videos into all sorts of demanding day-job-related and family commitments. Really sorry. I always try to give as much notice as I can, but sometimes, 24 hrs is all that’s possible.

Natural sandalwood is utter HEAVEN. Most synthetic ones are ghastly if overused.
