Nashville father-of-two Dahal Umesh beaten to death trying to break up fight in Top Golf parking lot

A Nashville father of two was beaten to death outside a Top Golf when he was attempting to break up a fight that broke out during a concert Saturday evening.
Dahal Umesh was attending the music event alongside other members of Nashville’s Nepali community on the lower level of the Top Golf - a national franchise of golf ranges - when the violent dispute erupted inside, the Metropolitan Nashville Police announced.
The concert, hosted by the Nashville Nepalese Association was held at The Cowan, a 635-person capacity live-performance venue on the lower level of the Top Golf, and was featuring Nepali Rock Band “Mantra,” according to the organization’s Facebook.
The fight eventually led people outside to the parking lot, where the 41-year-old allegedly got involved as a peacekeeper.
