Kevin... Freaking... LePage... His excuse was actually "I have a bright red and yellow car, its their fault if they couldn't see me."

@@nascarsteve When you exit the pit lane under green you drive under the actual track on the apron until you reach the back stretch where its safe to re enter the track since by the time you get there you will be going just about under the speed the other cars would be going. When you are already on the track and racing you do not go onto the Apron unless you are avoiding a wreck. For them to hit Kevin LePage they had to be on the Apron to hit him something they shouldn't be doing in the first place. And the spotter does not clear your Pit exit you exit when your crew says they are done. The only time your Spotter clears your exit is under very specific conditions.

@@TheTotallyRealXiJinping Unless it was his first race he wouldnt have possibly tried to do that. Exactly, there's no way for NASCAR to fairly address that without having to go outside its official rules (although they have done so before). The most fair thing to do is strike the points from that race IMO. Similarly with the Kenseth/Logono incident the most fair thing is to give Logono a pass to the next round. I mean they expanded the playoffs due to race manipulation with MWR. Why not put an extra spot in for the next round in the championship?
