Yep, can you believe this is the same league that gave us, The Pettys, Allisons and Earnhardts? No characters, no personality, just political correctness and follow the leader. Oh and B l a c k lives or something.

Hamlin will be the champ this year. Two laps down and the commentator said Hamlin is running the same speed as the leader. They have to pass around the wins so the fans don't say good bye . The team drivers have the competition locked up. They get all the practice time shared with each other, and they get 500 hundred laps to fine tune the suspensions. So these races are no mysteries. Still enjoy watching the cars.

Stage racing in it's entirety sucks. If you want several races in a day, run heat races to set the lineup.

Now Nascar is telling me again,what I can and can't bring to the track. 50 + years watching and being on an ARCA team back when,I am done,and you wait,many,many,will follow,crowds will be even smaller than they already are.Everyones life matters,Nascar.

Me too Keith. NASCAR has done a good job of destroying auto racing, The Chase, stage racing to mention only a couple reasons. What we saw in the stands since racing started up again, will be the normal now--- EMPTY. You're gonna have the guy that treats his kids to a race and a few others that just want to experience it. Nascar has given in to political correctness and now begins the accelerated decline of the series. The personalities and characters that made Nascar are long gone. The only thing that matters is keeping the corporate sponsors happy. This will result in intense boredom for the fans and they will gradually ignore the series. When they reopen races to fans they might find little difference between what the stands look like now and then.

It's okay that it takes you back to your youth, or that you thought it meant something different, but it's time people stop romanticizing it, and start teaching the true history of the flag that everyone else sees: a traitorous rebellion to keep owning slaves.
