The disrespect for SVG 😂😂of the 15 that are good enough to win it, placing SVG alongside Larson or Bell seems reasonable. Whose data and onboards they looking through right now? He’s also now more familiar to the car and the drivers. The only thing that should bump him to 10:1 is that a Track house prepared Kaulig car is not equivalent to a HMS or JGR car. McDowell (Mr 3 wins from 500 starts) would be better value at 25:1 although even then I’d still prefer Chastain at similar money.

SVG has been a non-factor in all his cup starts this year. He’s great, really darn good. But the favorite?!?!? Come on… that’s ridiculous

@@johnnyonthetrack he done one Cup race on a road course this year the rest were ovals, Did Bell or Larson win that one (COTA)? He not a favourite because you haven’t observed what he’s done for years and years on circuits like this, Some ‘experts’ said he’d be no good in an Xfinity car on road courses which have included Larson, Gibbs and AJ. He’s not a lock but ran right with Reddick and Bell last year early on in damp conditions and moved forward in Stage 3 on a dry track.

@@johnnyonthetrack now you have lost all credibility. His placing is not indicative of his performance whatsoever nor provide a justification. If you observed his practice, qualifying (Cup and Xfinity), the Xfinity race and Stage 1 of the Cup race and still think he didn’t deserve to go into the race as a firm favourite then it’s quite clear your views are based on your emotions. Did Kyle Larson not deserve to be the favourite because he also crashed? Of course not.
