SVG drives all sorts of cars. He even gave Hayden Paddon a hurry up in RNZ. Those that know him know this.

Its so interesting that SVG has introduced an entirely new-level of analysis, so now folks are talking about fundamental things like; confidence, pedal technique, corner angles, clean overtaking, learning again, showing mutual-respect for quality driving etc. It makes for enlightening commentary for how intelligent driver's think. Its become so much more involving for non-Nascar spectators like me. I think its opened up Nascar to a global audience. Exciting motorsport. Australia

NASCAR should run a weekend at Bathurst during the series. Would make for great TV.

Supercar experience. Love to see these cars at Bathurst. SVG ruled here to.

SVG drives the way he does because in Supercars you have to. If Supercars rules were used in America it would put every driver on every corner penalised.

The funny thing is Scott McLaughlin had Shane’s number for 3 years in Supercars!

Correct, Scotty's driving is legendary, however vehicle disparity played a small role in the Supercars wins

As a KIWI, both drivers are World class, however the Mustang that McLaughin drove had Aero advantages over the Holden of the GIZ. Still, in saying that, Scotty Mac is legendary , but The Giz can drive ANYTHING

That's right. But how many years did SVG have Scotty's number? I'm a fan of both and it's hard to measure as both had periods with better cars than the other. I believe Scott was a better qualifier but SVG's racecraft and ability to work through traffic was far superior

Super Cars is G.M. ...end of story .. Ford always got cheated on year in year out .. When the Mustang debuted G.M. an their protege, triple 8 did everything to kill it, they put weights every where to f..the car, an weren't happy till they succeeded, it was so bad the only thing that kept the Mustang viable was Scotty's Skill, Top 10, only one Mustang Scotty's, the rest last second last etc.. Scotty was in a car that was inferior, to triple 8 ... Triple 8always got the pass.... Ford had enough, an threatened to pull out, Super Cars I mean General Motors, were fd if that happened ... Now the cars are Even..just kidding Mustang is actually winning.. When the Chev Debuted it wasn't penalized, it never had weights all over it, l mean they had ppl they were getting out of the stands to drive an they were winning. That's when Ford said we've had enough ... That fd General Motors. After the Mustang was penalized out the competition, I never wasted my time watching the f..thing ever again ...

A real smart guy JA, great feed back, SVG is learning also, he will be a force to be reckoned with next season. GR8 prediction you were right with your thing.

The Gizz could drive a pedal car and still beat us mere mortals. Drift, Rally, Road, Off-road, he does it all.

I think NASCAR should end the stage part of the race.

Liking more NASCAR driver's after each interview,still don't like the guy Hill though,seems like a sook,,hope there's more to come yet,never really watched NASCAR before,but getting more involved now,not a fan of the roundabout racing,not sure if I ever will, Street's that's different,

Actually Hill is a very talented driver just needs an attitude tune up. He should ask van Gisbergen for some tips. From New Zealand fan.
