@@pi1392 Right. What I think they should do before sending anyone to Mars is put a similar capsule and supplies and equipment, in the middle of the desert. Spread out a bunch of rocks and see how long they take to hit the "I give up" button. I don't think they would have as many people volunteering to go to Mars after that.

What is so creepy and beautiful at the same time is that this picture clearly shows a 'place'; not just an abstract 'thing', but actually a 'somewhere', where you could actually walk around, sit down on the ground, pick up one of those pebbles and take a casual stroll towards one of those hills on the horizon while watching the sunset and the stars come up at night.

@@lazypotato6743 No, I actually have studied astrophysics, so obviously not. But it still just used to be this 'target of measurement', kind of like a black hole or the center of the sun - but Mars just struck me as a real and actual 'place' you can actually go to. It is just this feeling - if you don't understand, I probably cannot explain more clearly.

Nice. Very nice. The pix have to be over 4K in resolution. The stitching of the pictures to make a panorama is flawless. Amazing.

Remember when humanity first made fire and everyone was very hype. Now Look, Humanity has made robots that go on different planets. Humanity has come so far and who knows what the future holds
