I'm not the typical Nas fan. I always had him as one of the greatest lyricists but being from the deep south, he wasn't played on radio and promoted a lot. So I wasn't really riding around bumping his cd constantly. But the albums he's put out the last few years, I've been on probably how most of his fans were his earlier work. So even though I don't have him as my greatest of all time; with the talent and consistency he displays, I won't argue with anyone who does.

This Album beats Utopia in my opinion.

Incredible album no songs that I would skip. I like how he brings innovation in his music without losing his identity. Nas is a true legend in this game. He is on a crazy run since 2020. At this point we can only appreciate whatever he does. After Life Is Good & years of no music I thought we wouldn't hear another Nas album. There's something to be said for music you just play at a good moment to feel good, like Nas can make casual vibe tracks, doesn't have to be going for his greatest song ever on every track he records... I think we forget that sometimes when we judge best lyricists, they always have to be going on a 100 to "keep their title" or something

I'm from Atlanta and love Outkast, Goodie Mob, and all the southern rap. But I grew up listening to Nas, Tupac, as well.
