Nas - Nas Will Prevail (Innotic Remake) MASHUP VIDEO
Музыка
Remake of classic track from Nas pre-illmatic demo from 1991/1992.

"Nas Will Prevail" is an initial version of "It Ain't Hard To Tell" from Illmatic. Both tracks produced by Large Professor with use of same samples. Good quality version is probably not existing, so I decided to remake it on my own.
Acapella taken from CD maxi single of "It Ain't Hard To Tell", "Nas Will Prevail" acapella also is not existing.
Video shows the landscape and urban decay of South Bronx in late '70s and early '80s. Extreme poverty and crime level led people to move out to other parts of New York, while owners of abandoned buildings faced with a drastic drop of its value, and lack of income. In outcome, whole blocks began being burned out for a money from insurance companies.

Just when you thought original was perfect and couldn't be improved on, there's this.. The remake of the video tells an amazing story of the city all by itself, then it's coupled with this periodic masterpiece of musical prowess carried undeniably in sync with the footage. So perfectly sequenced in it's natural progression. The ones that created this, you did the world a great service that we're indebted to you for.

Innotic Beats you’re far too modest. The video and remake are both phat
That footage of the South Bronx in the 1970s is extremely shocking, the fact that a so called first world country allowed that to happen is mind boggling

Wait till you see the true beauty.
I remember the Bronx looking like this as a kid. Never really questioned it or anything. But I remember. Unbelievable to me I grew up in some areas that looked like this. Every borough had an area that looked bad like this. The focus was on the Bronx though. I remember kids referring to the Bronx, the burnt down Bronx. God bless everyone that made it out that mess.

It was also a shock for me seeing such well developed and iconic city in this degree of destruction. Even here in Poland people still calling dangerous or unkept urban area "bronx".
@Henry.P

@innoticbeats2211 Yeah the whole city was a mess. If you watch the Deathwish movies with Charles Bronson you can see how bad the Bronx was. These days the Bronx is being gentrified. The days of the burnt down Bronx are long gone. It is interesting to hear other areas of the world being referred to as the Bronx.
I've been looking for something like this for years now. That kind of "underground, jazzy" feel the OG instrumental had and the lyrics the album version had.
@Innotic Beats Nas would be proud.

This is amazing! Can you do similar things with Nas' "Life is Like A dice Game"? Put it on soundcloud or something bradda. I think Nas fans will gravitate to it. Making polished versions of a legend's unpolished demos might get you some clout (that's not your intention I know, but still; I think there is a demand for that for Nas fans)

That’s not the projects, those are just regular private apartment buildings in the Bronx, you can see most of them are burned out that’s because most of tenants stopped paying rent and they were hard to evict too so the landlords decided to just set the whole thing on fire and collect the insurance money and make moves somewhere else, that was in the 1970s thankfully it’s not like that anymore
