I remember when this chapter of the manga came out, I was still in my home country Nigeria. I and my mates were all huddled in the computer room in school because wifi was strongest there. Our computer teacher was so flabbergasted to come in and see dozen of teenage boys crying and hugging each other. Best development ever. Kurama & Naruto.

It's so cool to see people remember what they were doing and where they were when a special chapter/ episode to them came out! I remember being in my old house, I was feeling nervous because I was about to start my first year of high school. I couldn't wait for Thursdays because that meant that it was time for a new Naruto Shippuden episode, and when I watched this one in particular, I felt very emotional and happy to see Naruto and Kurama finally working together :') Now we are watching other people experience this amazing anime and see how happy they are, the same as we were when we saw it the first time ^-^

One thing you guys missed about the DBZ reference besides Son Goku and Roshi, is that the Tailed Beast is the 4-Tails, and the 4-Star ball had special significance to Goku and his family.

That's a good point lol. We knew Shukaku had a name and everyone referred to him by his name, but it never occurred to us that Kurama might have one too. I wonder if the other tailed beasts were upset that the entire sand village refers to Shukaku by name

Thats retconning for you. Kishi didn't think tailed beasts were going to be an expanded upon concept so he never intended for shikaku to the the 1 tails.

I love the fact that Kakashi called Naruto Sensei. I find it kinda cool that the insect tail beast was a larvae in the flashback.

"Sensei?" That line still gives me chills

This was such a hype moment in the manga. Though this would be the second time Naruto releases the seal of his own volition, it's for an entirely different purpose. Naruto finally cooperates with the beast that's made him an outcast and caused him so much turmoil for so many years. Kurama finally willing to put his trust in a human. No longer seen as a burden or source of power but as an equal to his jinchuuriki host. The golden form and coat look absolutely sick. I miss the horns. I hate how he no longer has them because he cut his hair when he got older. The transformation has always felt incomplete after that.

Kurama clearly is the strongest but they are all considerably weakened and being puppeteered so this wasn’t any where near their full strength u see more of there strength later when they actually fight madara when he comes back to life

I love this episode so much, Kurama & all the other tail beast accepting Naruto as the reincarnation of their “father” the Sage of Six Paths. They all accept him and decided to help him. On top of that, Kurama seeing Sage of Six Paths in Naruto 🥲 And Kakashi mistaking Naruto as Minato 😭 perfection

Its only the beginning of the end of this amazing story...Upcoming events are even more hype. *Baby Kurama broke the girls.*

This episode shows just how much stronger the 9 tails is compared to all the other tailed beasts lol, literally half of kurama completely overpowered 5 tailed beasts at once, half powered kurama 😂

I will never get over the fact that Kakashi saw Minato in Naruto when he showed up and saved them. Epic.

Wrong title normies, this is 329 not 328.

Matatabi, Isobu, Son Goku, Kokuo, Saiken, and Chomei all gave Naruto a small part of their chakra, yes. And the tailed beasts are chakra constructs, so what they did is give him a small part of themselves. Given what's currently become of the rest of them, it could thus be said that Naruto is the jinchuriki of all of them plus Kurama,. That being said, he does not have any chakra from Shukaku or Gyuki, so he's not quite able to be the bridge between all nine like the Sage was.

This is one of my favourite episodes of anime ever. Literally one of the only moments that will always give me chills no matter how many times I see it. The years of build up, music sync, animation and emotional payoff all at their peak 🔥

Its such a weird concept to acutally feel, half of your soul is separated and locked away (Kurama is not 100% he's 50% since 4th Hokage separated half of his soul to make it bearable to let the baby handle the Chakra)

I love the DBZ references when I first saw this episode too. Actually Dragon Ball GT ended and a couple of years later Naruto strated, so they werent airing at the same time. One of the greatest Naruto episodes hands down. I remember reading this sequence in the manga the day it came out. Chapter 570 ended right when Naruto opens the gate for Kurama, and the hype for the next chapter was *INSANE,* everyone who was up-to-date with the manga at the time was *super* excited for what's next. Then came chapter 571 titled "Bijuu Mode!!" and it was absolutely glorious. Definitely top 5 manga chapters for me personally.
