The first fight Sasuke wanted to go to Orochimaru and Naruto was like "I'll break your legs and drag you back" The 2nd fight Sasuke was literally sleeping when Naru-gang attacked 3rd fight Sakura literally turned up to kill Sasuke post his fight with Danzo 4th and at the end THAT is when Sasuke initiated and Naruto forgave him after the fight. Even then Sasuke was more of I'll destroy the Tailed Beasts which have caused problems throughout history and Naruto was more "I won't stop you"

Yes, I find it sad as well. Orochimaru and Madara did plenty of evil, but their back stories give a glimpse into their humanity. You definitely get a glimpse of Danzo's humanity when he's dying.

As you well know, their claim to fame was from their experiences in their dealings with Kurama, and how they managed to survive for two weeks within the tailed beast by basically feasting on the flesh within Kurama's stomach. Subsequently, they received enormous benefits from this, which boosted their already immense strength, which included abilities matching that of real jinchuriki(as Andrew said) and insane chakra reserves.

Kinkaku and Ginkaku got the upper hand because they also have Sage Six Path Weapons. Plus they got 20 ninjas as reinforcement. Tobirama, if he don't go all out, may risk with his pupils survival.

Danzo is one of the underrated character in Naruto. He did all the dirty job/sacrifice for konoha's peace. He did what he did to protect the village. Yes he had differences with Hiruzen, but both of them have the same goal that is to protect the village at all cost.

Danzo was freaking terrible. Just think of all the crap he pulled in the series. The guy made my blood boil more than Orochimaru ever did. Okay, that final sacrifice was kind of honorable but that's NOT enough to make up for everything he did, not by a long shot.

Danzo was so cool lol he died as the ultimate test for Sasuke. It was kind of a beautiful sad fight. His obsession with trying to catch up to Hiruzen overtook him :(

Danzo was a great man. He was a necessary Evil needed to keep the village's stability and International Status high. He is what made the Hidden leaf village Great. If it wasn't for him I'm sure the village would've lost the Third Great ninja War or the Shinobi Alliance Would've ceased to exist. What ever he did was a necessity for the village to be strong. For that I thank him. He deserves to have a face portrait on Hokage mountain.

Bro Tobirama has the best voice in all of Naruto but Hashirama comes very close.

I despise Danzo, he literally makes me sick. In my opinion he's Konoha's greatest villain.

My only fault with Danzo is that when he was only willing to help the village in his own way. Example Pains attack on the village if he had his own army then they could have helped instead he did nothing and waited to pick up the damaged tree. I know he loved the village and a working system need a dark under line but still the fact that he constantly made unneeded moves that sometimes made things worse, I guess it's the selectivity that annoys me

WhOwns yeah okay everyone says he was a dick for that but 1. Pein was looking for Naruto, the frog would've recalled him to the village thus putting the village in danger therefore it would've been better to just let Pein find him once he realizes that he's not in Konoho since Danzo didn't necessarily know he'd attack AND it'd prevent Pein from getting control of the kyuubi 2. Danzo had no fucking way of knowing that Naruto learned sage mode that fast and it was highly unlikely that he would. How long was he on Mount Myoboku for anyways, like, a week? my memory might be a lil foggy since I haven't watched that part of the series in yeaaars but yeah

Y'all don't understand, in order for a nation to survive. Someone has to do the dirty work, do bad things to keep others from harming their nation. They portrait themselves as vengeful and they too are human who want to shine. However their job is a thankless one and might make them antisocial and criminal at times dragging them to a bottomless pit. Yes I agree, but in reality is not practical. Businesses, Countries, and individuals want to survive "basic instinct", this is only achieved through money, power and political control. In order to survive like any other animal we seek to protect our own interest. Leading to actions taken by leaders to preserve one's community and family which pit corporations and people like you and me to make everyday choices that cause a demand of goods. To maintain such demand we promote, business, treaties and war in the interest of our preservation. This creates agencies and individuals who must do work "under the table" to ensure that some people live comfortable lives. And the cruel reality is that in order for some to live comfortable some won't. The result is resentment due to inequality of living privileges, resentment leads to conflict, which leads to aggression, to prevent aggression from turning violent some unfair stuff has to keep them shut. And if you don't see this point look at history, look at today's conflict zones, read on the rise of rebellious entities, read on the fall of economies across the world. example "Venezuela"...But in the end is not about defining who is good or bad. but the intentions and the reasons...I'm all for everyone being happy and having equal living standards. but it just wont happen. Because there's just no way you can have everyone agree in the first place, everyone want's to have their own Idea become the norm...I mean just look at us discussing this on an anime clip.

Nope, in the original japanese line Sarutobi says that Shisui is a *descendant* of Kagami, not his son. I didn't watch the english version but maybe they got it wrong and you as well.

Second hokage have pupils , one of them was Danzo and Hiruzen Hiruzen has pupils that gone stray path, it was Orochimaru that bring harms to the village then his other pupils , Jiraiya have pupils too, Nagato the leader of Akatsuki, Konan and Yahiko then Jiraiya had another pupils the fourth hokage fourth hokage have pupils , Kakashi, Rin, Obito Obito gone stray and caused the Nine tails rampage, killing both fourth hokage and Naruto mother and also help Itachi to masscare his own clan. ' When Tsunade got down by pain and people thinking we need new hokages, and Shikamaru dad promoted Kakashi. And Danzo then got mad and say it to the fire daimyo, "orochimaru was Hiruzen doing, then Pain the Akatsuki leader who attacked Konoha was one of Jiraiya pupils and Jiraiya was Hiruzen pupils. and you expect me to let that Kakashi guy to lead Konoha when he was the fourth pupils and the fourth was Jiraiya pupils ? he said it and i realized wow he makes some sense and i did not say he was a good/kind person, he was evil, doing dirty works for his villages and hated for it. But just one thing, he was care and try to protect Konoha well being. He was'nt some evil bastard who enjoy wealth, and fame to get easy life and become a corrupt person. As much as I hated danzo he went out in a badass way with a badass speech

I need to see the last fight of Tobirama. Guy who creates a little storm with moving a finger deserves his final moments to be shown. We'll never get to see Sarutobi Hiruzen's prime too. Danzo's past taught me these.

In the evil, exists good. I feel Danzou feelings here, remember his childhood and the magnificence of the village..

Listening to English Dub made me feel like the person is speaking in third person lol as in narrating the story. But nice video keep up the good work! :D

It would have been a tuff battle. The gold and silver brothers would've both had to use their nine tail powers to fullest. Tobirama would have used the reanimation jutsu but the brothers had the ability to seal any undead with their sage tools. In the end i think Kinkaku and Ginkaku would have been the only survivors of their unit and they'd be in bad shape.

Danzo was a complex character. You can’t label him just by good or bad. He loved the village but everything he did to protect it was wrong.

Danzo is a true hero! ♥️

Plotholes: The current Hokage(Tobirama) who is hailed as one of the strongest of his time had to sacrifice? He's a hokage for Gods sake, regardless how many enemies, he has the Flying Thunder God which he can use to teleport himself and others, He also invented the Shadow Clone Technique, he has an electric sword and he can perform all element release.. Many may not agree with me but danzo did a lot to help hiruzen behind the scenes and did his best to help the village even when He did try heinous stuff like trying to take kakashi's and shisui's eye,his eventual change of heart towards hiruzen and the massacre of the Uchiha, like most other villains in Naruto he did it because he thought it was right and for his village

You would think that danzo was a reincarnation of Indra, because of all this hatred he has towards hiruzen. Hiruzen is not like ashura though, and lastly was tobirama testing his students to see who would sacrifice themselves. In order to see who would become the next hokage? So if danzo volunteered he would've been hokage ?

Not too sure. I don't know much about the others. But I am pretty sure Hiruzen and Danzo were the strongest of the group except for Tobirama. So I'd assume one of the two would get the Hokage position.

IMAGINE if kagami Uchiha voted to be the lure, tobirama would be like 'oh u want to go , uh doesn't anyone else want to do this job ' and then Danzo would say he would have become the lure and tobirama would elect him to die and then the leaf village would've never be messed up

Danzo was initially an ambitious person. But his ambition caused him to lose sight of what's more important. This was why the first hokage said what he needed to say at 3:23

danzo and hiruzen is seems like Avatar Roku and Lord Shozin. Danzo in his last said "what was I to you ? " Just like Shozin thought when he want to conquer the world, like "am I right ? Roku?"

The guy was good in his own way I guess. Even though he has done terrible things, it was for the sake of the village. He knew sacrifices must be made and he got into it thus making lots of enemies. In the end he was on the right side, but his methods were cruel. Im sure Hiruzen was aware of how much he cared about Konoha cuz he forgave him a couple of times for his drastic actions.. What I didn't like at all was the fact that we never got to see him use Shisui's eye. His most powerful weapon. He thought Sasuke won't strike through Karin. so he didn't activate it and he was stabbed brutally. Anyway, he was a needed and at times interesting character.

i would love to watch the kinkaku unit fighting against lord 2nd.. can u imagine how epic the fight would be.

i'm all for japanese voice acting, but i think William Frederick Knight did it better here. In the japanese version it just sounds like last dying words, in this english version the voice illustrates the contrasting "light" in the tone of voice, compared to Danzo's life of darkness. the reason it hits the spot is because of the bright memories it displays

I dont know why but i have a high respect for danzo dont question me and i dont know why either but my guts is telling me hes a good person but blinded by something and wants to be... Never mind i have respect him until the end of naruto (if there is rhe end of it)

came here after watching Tsunade's reaction to young Danzo.

danzo wants to protect his village no matter what happen.. some reason he chose what he thinks right for the sake of konoha but that was personal interest and ambitious to become hokage.. but i amaze to hiruzen the youngest hokage of konoha

well , reality was not a fun place itself , thats why the goal of madara was to create a world without reality. in reality , we have the instinct to protect the person we love from harm and we did everything for it , like danzo itself he love konoha so much but using other method to protect it , to make peace through fear. he was a hero in his perspective yet it never was an hero on the side of reality , because in the same logic all people should be hero in their own story yet , he ( danzo) delete other people dream to realize his dream without their concern (all blood he sacrificed) , than why he is not the real definition of hero but he just a normal human with ambition. what make naruto a hero in reality is how he beat some sense into people in the same time he still let people choose what their heart to follow.

Because telling the Hokage the Uchiha are staging a coup is so difficult, so let's make an Uchiha murder all the Uchiha.

Everything's Alright Hokage knew that the coup was gonna happen but Hokage's mistake was that he hoped to talk to tFugaku even when the tine for talk was over. Moreover murdering all the Uchiha atleast saved their honour and made them appear as victims. Everyone sympathized with them after they died.

Uchihas were mistreated since tobirama era...that's why they tried to stage a coup moron.

If he was from another village ok I would get it why he would only sometimes help but he's not he was just furthering his own goals

I think I would enjoy watching Naruto a hell of a lot more if everyone had manly voices like in this.

Don't get me wrong I dont particularly like Danzou either, but he had his own way of protecting the village, and went to extreme lengths, putting his goals before his desires each time, to reach it.

I get the fact that these two brothers are essentially Sanin level and the 18 ninjas that accompanied them were Kakashi level so it would make sense that the second Hokage would have a hard time considering he was wounded or very tired but this is what doesn't make sense; Madara beat up an entire army with all the hokage's of the entire villages and Tobirama was able to defeat a prime Madara when they were young he was also accompanied by the future third Hokage, regarded as the strongest Hokage the leaf has ever known according to the narutowiki, and Hanzo a threat in himself. The other shinobi we can just assume are powerful. It sounds like if they all united and attacked the 20 ninjas sent to kill Tobirama they would have all survived or at the very least trasferred enouph chakra onto the group running away and teleported when the time was right.

I dunno but I felt saddened by his death, though not literally sad. Danzo and Hiruzen both had good and bad intentions, both made wise and wrong decisions although Danzo was a bit darker than Hiruzen. At least at the very least, what Danzo wants was for the good of the village.

When you want to hate him, but he had sad experience...

The fact that Tobirama is looking like a middle aged man at age of 60 still surprises me

I like this scene. Great summary of Danzo's character. He died as he lived. Meaning he thinks he accomplishes a lot with his actions, while in reality he not only accomplishes nothing, he makes things worse. But that doesn't stop him from thinking he does a great good "for the village". I mean look at him, the only thing he achieved in his death is destroyed bridge, but he compares himself to Hiruzen. Really dude?

No, he did something, danzo seal the shisui eyes to prevent obito use it. Could you imagine how strong obito in 4th ninja war if he had the eye, he can manipulate naruto and bee

Not to mention in itachi sinden, Danzo was doing all his action for konoha for example he ordered itachi to eliminate the one byakugan eye person because he leak the important information of konoha

I m happy...at least danzo turn in to be a good one and die saving the village....😣😣
