It's not the greatest defense. Truth seekers orbs were a greater defense. Its definitely top 2 or top 3 for sure although I would put the kurama avatar right up there with it. There is also the hokage barrier and the barrier placed by obito in his jinchuriki form. Both of which tanked juubi bombs. But lore wise susanoo probably is the most well known. Either way what jigen did was flat out nutty. And just with sheer physical power. Like a hot knife through butter.

@Nhat Anh Hoang No. Naruto blocked and neutralized sasukes arrows with the truth seekers orbs. Naruto was defending against sasukes arrows as sasuke had shot his arrows before naruto threw the orbs. I also just went back and watched some of the clips from that fight and those same truth seeker orbs returned to naruto after having used them on sasukes arrows. In other words sasukes arrows never destroyed them or eliminated them from the fight. Plus that was just naruto using them as projectiles. He never formed them into an actual shield like madara, obito or toneri did. They are only weak to sage energy/senjutsu and physical might great enough to crack them.

@Nhat Anh Hoang Go back and read my comment. I added more to it as you were responding. And no he did not lose 6-7. He only used 3 against sasukes arrows. He used the majority of them against madara before even fighting sasuke. As a matter of fact naruto only had a total of three in his fight verse sasuke. He used about 2 to help seal madaras limbo shadow. And he used some to blast madaras meteorites.

@Nhat Anh Hoang You didn't read my comment clearly. He didn't lose them forever due to the arrows. I just mentioned that those same 3 orbs returned to naruto after that point. In other words they weren't destroyed. They neutralized the arrows and were still in tact. Meaning they were greater. It was only after sasuke used indras arrow (required Chakra from all the tailed beasts plus his own) in combination with narutos sage energy tailed beast bomb rasenshurikens exploding when they somehow disappeared and we never saw them again.

As humans, naruto and sasuke have pretty much reached their peak physically, they’ve both pretty much mastered all of their arsenal if it’s taijutsu, their Justus and their power ups, there’s really not much they can do to get stronger they’ve reached their limits unless they were to discover/unlock a whole new power up. I do feel that naruto is a lot less battle ready and rusty bc he’s constantly working as hokage but that was his dream and what he always wanted.

Naruto and Sasuke are at their prime only way they get stronger is from bs powerups like Hashirama cells, or if Naruto got the other tailed beasts, Sasuke gets snake sage mode and a 3rd eye or sharingan arm like Danzo lol. Sasuke uses the 6 Pains technique and controls 6 corpses. Stuff like that but we're never gonna see it

Naruto could improve Sage mode. (Which he did). Master so many more jutsu and chakra natures. Sasuke could, seriously how the f hasnt he done this by now, get an arm. Get any arm or the Hashirama superdeluxe arm they have on a shelf somewhere. He also knows where Obito kept all his spare sharingans when he got his transplant. Could easily pick 1 up. Hell, give Kakashi 1 too. Kabuto and Orochimaru are chilling out there while being the 3rd and 4th strongest and fucking sages.

Not really, in naruto the more you train the more chakra you get and the training isn't just physical. You get stronger by getting more knowledge and training your spirit. Basically even if your body hits a limit your brain and spirit don't.

i see a lot of people question using susanoo and nine tails. yes jigen can shrink himself. susanoo and nine tails cover much more ground, the only reason they didnt hit him was because of his speed.

Fun fact: Jigen was nerfed in this fight and performed better in the manga. Naruto and Sasuke were buffed ,so they could look better. Also here are some points that I’d like to say. A lot of people think Naruto and Sasuke were nerfed as teen versions. Actually Naruto and Sasuke trained and got stronger enough to beat kaguya level threats in a 1v1. The narratives emphasize after Naruto and Sasuke lost some abilities they had trained to gain that power back and surpass their teen versions. Their is a reason Naruto’s directional control and many things are more better while Sasuke has more mastery of the rinnegan. He also enhanced his speed to catch up to six paths Naruto speed with his lightning cloak and has overall gotten faster and stronger. They defeated fused momo and base momo> kaguya. Half power of them was fucking up fused momo so they would be much stronger than their teen versions. Debatable subjects. Many people like to mention rinnegan abilities and six paths orbs that is why they are nerfed and that there teen versions would peform better. If that was the case why did Naruto in kcm+ sm block Toneri otutsuki’s truth seeker orbs? Are they really not counterable? Jigen can block them with his rods. “Sasuke has not mastered rinnegan abilities.” We’ve already seen him master his ability and used chibaku tensei so fast fused momo could not even change the laws of gravity despite being a star level being. He was also shown being able to use multiple chibaku tensei’s. Soul sucking path only works on people who scale lower in ap and Sasuke has higher ap. The summonings are kinda useless here and all the other paths are mainly useless. Many people like to point out sasuke could’ve chibaku tensei’d jigen. The fact is jigen one shot a perfect susano and kurama avater with his leg. It was already shown that perfect susano is > meteor level/ chibaku tensei as Sasuke’s perfect susano cut and destroyed multiple chibaku tensei’s. This would make ap wise jigen> perfect susano> meteors so if he was even put it in he would just destroy it with a kick or punch. Also one more thing I would like to clear up things a lot of people compare jigen against fused momo even though jigen is another level. Fused momo was getting his ass whooped in just base tai by Naruto and Sasuke if you go off manga Naruto alone was enough to pressure him. Both Naruto and Sasuke were at 50 percent power in this encounter. Stage 1 karma jigen was able to peform better against Naruto and Sasuke with just taijutsu. So if you’d have to use good scaling it would be stage 2 karma jigen> Naruto and Sasuke (full power)~> stage 1 karma jigen~> (50 percent Naruto and Sasuke)> fused momo.

Jigen was technically buffed in this fight, as he had to go an absorb a shit ton of chakra from the ten tails he had with him for preparation . Ur pretty much spot on about everything else here, accept that I don’t agree that base momo is stronger than Kaguya, but like you said that’s heavily debatable. Good paragraph overall

@@ameera8423 Jigen having 10 tails chakra is actually why people debate whether isshiki is stronger than 10 tails chakra jigen and yes, they do have abilities that would be useful the writers just don’t know how to do it properly. Sasuke can use his summonings for extra vision, the asura path for extra arms, the naraka path to literally heal himself or naruto. People forget that the king of hell can heal people instantly, too. It’s just really bad writing. Naruto should’ve used boil release too because it’s a massive power amp. I’m not saying they would’ve won this fight but they definitely have other abilities that would be useful the writers are just lazy and don’t like creative use of abilities anymore. They only allow them to use their main abilities, their bread and butter. Nothing else.
