Code arc gonna be crazy I miss this anime Hope it will return as seasonal anime.

I think this fight is supposed to signal the shows direction moving back towards more taijutsu and close quarters away from the big mech style of susano and nine tales mode when Jigen makes light work of the 2 in that form, scaling the power while making the fights more personable.

Great analysis ! people think that naruto and sasuke are nerfed because they lost this battle, but in reality they are even stronger than their shippuden selfs, what make people think that they are weaker is because they don't use as many techniques as their teen self, but the thing is that spamming rasenshuriken won't work against the new enemies, because they are stronger and faster than the enemies in shippuden, so naruto and sasuke had to develop better taijutsu skill making them even stronger than their shippuden selfs. so if they lose a battle, that doesn't mean that they are nerfed, it means that the enemy is stronger than them, scaling the power even higher like you said😁 have a great day !
