Cruised that way a lot when our share boat was based at Gayton Marina. Milton Keynes is lovely by boat. We love Stoke Bruerne, especially the Indian restaurant. Brought back good memories.

Hi Guys from a sunny France. I have done the equivalent to blacking my bottom😉 Antifouling done, all 13m of it. Spent the rest of the week sailing. Otis in a lift (think about it😁🤔). oh yes we go on the M1 regularly, trips to london for my medical treatment, from outside marple to london , takes us five hours one way but longer to get to central london then park at edgeware then get underground to euston , one hell of a trip both ways in a day ! we have two siamese at home ! otis is getting bigger now bless him x gosh love the silver statue ! i worked for the railway as a nurse and i had fabulous footplate trips , the gentleman drivers which is what they were if i left the clinic they would stand up until i sat down , fabulous manners but this went both ways , i loved my blue collar workers , it was a pleasure helping them ! great guys stay safe ! my love liz x

There's no need to worry about giving an unexpected wave. My old Dad only had one eye and other chaps would mistake his closed non eye for a deliberate wink. Back before our currently (slightly) enlightened personal freedoms, Dad would get lots of unexpected winks. He quite liked the attention. Maybe the fishermen like the attention too. I often answer people in the street only to discover they're talking on the phone.

Thanks for the lovely things you said about Milton Keynes. We love living there, just a two minute walk from the canal in fact, so we really appreciate the ‘linear park’ that runs along it. We can walk or cycle for miles in greenery through the city. Love how you’ve made the boat safe for Otis.

I've got to agree with you Michelle, in a world dominated by trash talk and negativity it's so refreshing to just watch 2 wonderful guys enjoying what they are doing. Great history lessons too! I paddle board many of the canals around Lincolnshire, have you a vlog on any of those?

ive watched a few other Narrow Boat bloggers...there is one guy who is constantly on the verge of tears and depressed and somehow his story was filmed and is on TV now in the states...anyway wanted to say you guys have the best blog, good information, nice shots, good drone work and of course Otis. Sir David Attenborough: "And here comes the holiday boater, the wind in his heart as the female watches for the inevitable. No worries, Mother Bird, the foliage makes for a soft landing." This brings me back memories Colin and Shaun I used to live in Buckinghamshire until 2008 it's nice that you guys went past Milton Keynes as specially the wolverton aqueduct I remember my family and I used to walk at Cosgrove and walked towards the wolverton aqueduct it got some nice walks there in the distance you can see the trains going past I remember going down the steps because the footpath takes you from the aqueduct towards castlethorpe.

Just came across your vlog last week. Really enjoying them,and hearing a lot of interesting things as you go along.
