We're Colin and Shaun. In 2018 we sold our home and built a canal narrowboat called Silver Fox that we lived aboard and travelled the UK's 2,000 miles of rivers and canals as continuous cruisers, campaigning for mental health issues along the way. We'll show you how we built our narrowboat, our canal journeys around some beautiful English countryside, nail-biting adventures, and everything that goes with an off-grid life cruising the canal network.
In 2021 we left the canals and moved to a croft in Highland Scotland where we now look after the wildlife, explore the Glens and Lochs, uncovering 10,000 years of history, having some fun along the way.

Having had friends both female and male that are gay or straight in the last twenty years I've come to understand that people fall in love with people - whether male or female when they are the right person. To see a couple of whatever sex that are so happy and content is an amazing thing. Some people never meet that person. clumsy wording but you know what i mean. great video guys and congratulations.

Hi Colin and Shaun ,loved the Q&A, just a suggestion for you, Shaun hates cutting the grass, and you want a donkey, so if you bought a donkey he could graze all your lawns, a bonus would be with a little donkey cart you could have romantic rides through the heather LOL, keep up the good work, my wife and I love you (I was diagnosed with AS when in my forties, 69 now, and you've helped me so much!) Renting a narrowboat in Great Britain is one of the options my wife and I are considering for a vacation in the UK. Your video with the basics is encouraging. Have been to Wales or Scotland many times now, by motorcycle. Even February with the motorcycle with a sidecar in Wales is actually not such a bad time. You get a different perspective with a narrowboat.

I completely agree with you regarding how people treat you as a gay couple. My sister was gay and she never dressed as a statement of her sexuality, nor flew a rainbow flag on her boat or anywhere else, nor insisted everyone had to know that she was gay. I feel there may be too many people today who insist that we all need to know whether they are gay, trans, gender fluid or whatever other "label" they have given themselves, by whatever means possible. It's not needed. We don't need to know.
