Asked why people love the trains so much, driver and engineer Kevin Edwins said: “It’s the sheer magic of a steam-hauled railway. People love to hear the whistle and see the smoke - very few zoos have them.” The Station Store will open at 11:30am each day where tokens can be purchased. The first train of the day will be at 12pm, and the last train at 4pm.
Over the summer holidays, from Saturday 24 July 2021, trains will run every 30 minutes
