Narcissists, Frauds & Enablers: The Death of Women's Sports | Riley Gaines | EP 356

Ep. 356
Take advantage of your 7 day free trial. All of Dr. Peterson's extensive catalog is available now on DailyWire+: www.dailywire.com/trial/jordan
Dr. Jordan B. Peterson and twelve-time All-American female swimmer Riley Gaines discuss the insemination of men into women's spaces. Gaines breaks down the breach in security that women face when forced to share vulnerable spaces with biological men, the purpose of athletic achievement, why segregation of the sexes has genuine merit, and what exactly went down at San Francisco State University.
Riley Gaines is an American athlete and female rights activist. Gaines is a graduate from the University of Kentucky, where she was a twelve-time All-American swimmer. She competed and tied with trans-identifying swimmer Lia Thomas at their NCAA championships and was unfairly sidelined from the awards ceremony. She has spoken to numerous teammates and administrators who do not think this attack on female sports is fair, and more importantly, do not feel this invasion by men into female spaces is remotely safe. Gaines has become an outspoken female rights activist, advocating for the protection of women's spaces, sports, and achievements, and has proven herself unshakable even when faced with a dangerous mob.

I'm sure she's an extremely smart young lady but you really don't have to be a genius to destroy the Looney tunes position of the left What makes the idea of somebody being born with a brain of a different gender in their body crazy is the fact that people believe this is a physical reality with no physical evidence. But what makes it extremely even more Looney tunes is a fact not only is there no physical criteria for being transgender there's not even a philosophical criteria. The only criteria for example for being a transgender woman is saying you are which means absolutely nothing because again there's no criteria for it physical or philosophically which makes the idea of being a transgender woman no more coherent than being ldbkbchknvv.

@@sabishiihito That’s an excellent point! My defense is that even I’ve become conditioned by the idiocy from people like 37 year old Megan Rapinoe and the overwhelming pop media to subconsciously lower my standard of excellence. But remember, both Riley and Megan invested their lives in pursuit of excellence. 22 year old Riley is a damn sight wiser than Megan. That’s also telling. Riley is a straight, normal female, while Megan is a radical leftist lesbian. That’s the society we’re in today. You point is well taken!

Well, you're part way there to figuring out the problem. You are correct about some of the biology - that top athletic performance is usually male dominated. That's the dumb feminist lie you're arguing against. The part that you're missing is the dumb conservative lie. The way the biology of sex works is a little more complicated than putting everyone in a man or woman category. It turns out, there's all kinds of diversity when it comes to sex. It's more of a spectrum, and it's a little arbitrary where to decide to draw the line in many cases. The punchline being, when you decided to divide up society into men's sports and women's sports, and you drew that arbitrary line on that spectrum of sex, what you did is pretty much guarantee that the women closest to the line were the ones that were going to have advantages in that sport. Which is how it works in real life. Yet another expose of sexism! This time sexism from both conservatives AND feminists! The better question is how to handle sports scholarships, which is why the question about who qualifies for women's sports is relevant. Personally, I think there's way too much emphasis on performance, and not nearly enough emphasis on discipline. If a highschooler has an outstanding fitness routine, but they're not particularly good at any one sport, I think that person should be getting the scholarship. And, someone who's uber talented, wins every event, but doesn't train very hard, that person should not be eligible for scholarship. We shouldn't be trying to give scholarships to potential pro athletes, we should be trying to give scholarships to potential personal trainers and physical educators. That means how you play the game is the most important part. Which furthers my analysis of the problem. Stop trying to divide people by sex or race! It just creates way too many issues, and the people trying to do it never really think it through.

It's because they have wrapped thier entire identity, personality and worth around thier sexuality and sexual preferences... They're beholden to the lies and false reality they have invested everything that is THEM into. So when someone attempts to tell the truth and breaks thier world views and essentially themselves into millions of pieces it leads them to believe the only option to stop that is to viciously attack anyone who speaks out or disagrees. Anyone willing to not be intimidated MUST BE SILENCED because if not then the reality is gonna shatter these people. It's so unhealthy. Regular people and regular gay individuals do not conflate thier sexuality preference with who they are and what gives them any worth. Normal people identity and personality doesn't revolve around thier genders or preferences. It revolves around thier interests, likes, dislikes, family, hobbies, ect.... but when someone makes thier entire existence based on the fact they believe they are "trans" and it relies on everyone else in the world agreeing to partake in that delusion when the world DOESN'T CARE ABOUT ANYONE AND SURELY ISN'T GONNA BEND OVER BACKWARDS TO ANYONE. The fact these people are relying on everyone else forcibly agreeing they are the opposite gender and accepting them that way. Instead of them just accepting Themselves for who they are! Cause if they truly did they wouldn't be bothered by those who refuse to accept them 🤷. Truth is they don't accept thier own delusion which is why they rely on everyone else's confirmations and acceptance

As a former swimmer myself, I know for a fact that sport is so freaking challenging and there is a good reason why males and females compete separately. If even arguably one of the top female swimmers can be beat by a lower tier biological male, then no other women have a chance. Say goodbye to women’s sports as we know it and any scholarships going to biological females.

I’m also a former collegiate swimmer. Men and women can’t even share lanes during practice. I remember other women on my team couldn’t stand the slowest guy on the team, because he would insist on sharing a lane with us, even though he would always lap us. Swimming is a brutal sport. I remember committing around 5 hours a day for practices during the swim season and going to lecture with wet hair and ice packs saran wrapped to my shoulders. To train like that for months all for your opportunities to be stolen from you by a faux woman is vile.

This exactly. It is taking away opportunities away from women. Next they will take away something else, just on how they can be a better woman than a natural woman. Even as a recreational level: a) All athletes start somewhere, often grassroots & recreational. b) We KNOW females drop out of sport in puberty & rarely return, leading to (arguably) worsened physical & mental health. All this will only further push women out of sport because what is the point when the chance of tangible reward is reduced? Also some women of religious faiths cannot swim/be undressed with men, they NEED female-only recreational swim groups for example.

I needed to hear this, that there are trans who are actually rational about it, and who don't use this as an excuse to walk all over what we hold valuable, egen sacred, in our society. My young children were exposed to a trans woman, and it destroyed their family life. The trans woman was their dad, my husband. He didn't seem to care that the kids wanted daddy to be male. Long story short he walked out the door. That was 20 years ago. He hasn't come back and they are all now adults. While I don't understand the trans movement, I'm appreciative of you, a trans person who is respectful towards the rest of us.

I found it important to articulate answers that inspire me to the "hard why" questions. Why do people seek coercive power? Why do people play the monolithic hierarchy game when it's not in their best interest to do so? Why can't the masses, i.e. people with a strong inferiority complex and/or highly emotional thought process, realize that they are harming themselves by not supporting the rational thinking people who they feel inferior to, and instead supporting con artists who use them as footstools for coercive power over the rational people - the people who would help them under a better hierarchy.

Or are there any canine bitches running around pretending to be a male dog ?? Are there any male Blue Whales swimming around in the oceans, pursuing and looking for another MALE Blue Whale to mate with ?? NO, NEVER. This craziness has however everything to do with subjective, abstract, non logical, irrational, emotions, imaginations, sexual and non sexual fantasies, illusions, delusions of the psyche, some irrational retrograde (go back to old Rome or Babylon) philosophy and feelings, lots and lots of feelings and imaginations and non logic Fantasies; in someones head. That's okay, fine, if it's in someones head but, and this is a BUT the size of all universes out there, what bugs me is that people are just not intelligent, gutsy, rational, logical enough to admit that. Just admit and say, "I want to publicly live out my irrational, sexual role play fantasies" and at least have some logic and guts and stop dragging, fact based, hard, cold truth, biology and genetics into this.

One of the ammunitions/excuses that trans activists use to try to discredit women athletes speaking out is something like "they're not even good at their sport. I also think of society at large in the US and Canada (and other places) operating as a dysfunctional family system where - the people in charge (enablers) aren't protecting the most vulnerable (often because of their own shameless behavior) - put the "Golden Child" ahead of others (the Narc), - attempt to sweep the abuse and dysfunction under the rug or cover it up - while gaslighting truth tellers while labelling them as the black sheep (or problem child) Tell the truth. I agree. Riley, don't bother with dentistry. You have a much greater calling than that. We need you and other women like you, to stand up and be true leaders for women on a global level, to counter the Greta Thunbergs, and the insidiously destructive corrosion of the trans movement. Girls and women need role models who are genuinely female, and who understand what that's like in a way that only they can. There's no need for a war between men and women, we were designed to be complimentary and you clearly understand that, and can be a voice for that. Understanding and communication can overcome ignorance and division, but as with all things competitive, there needs to be those individuals with the unique abilities necessary to light the path and show the way. Not everyone has those abilities or can do that, but you clearly do. It looks like God has already set your feet on this path, much the same way he set Jordan's feet on his path. Neither of you were looking or asking for it, but if you are willing and accept the calling, God will be with you. Get close to him in prayer, and ask him for whatever it is you will need to be what he is calling you to be. He will grant you what you need. Do it with him, and you will succeed.

My sister also trained to swim competitively from a young age. The effort wasn't just hers. She needed to be taken to the swimming pool every day at 6am, while the rest of us are still in bed, and she needed to be picked up again when done. For years. Unless you have witnessed the incredible amount of effort that women like Riley go to, you won't really understand how much people like me hate (yes, hate is the right word), cheats like Thomas. So when I've seen Thomas interviewed, justifying his position, it makes me want to punch him in the face.
