I know this may be hard to believe but I actually thank the Lord for the opportunity to have gone through all of that because it's really helped me learn so much more about myself. I wish i wouldn't have been so hard on myself over that time but looking back now I am very thankful for everything i'm in a totally different mind set because I'm in a totally different situation as I walk through my future now

You said your comment in a way that caused me to consider a family member of mine. I love spending time with my sisters and I visit them often. I love my brother but he can wear on your nerves. He is in his 50’s, never married, spoiled, because of some physical issues, he cannot work. He seems miserable, pitches a fit about every day, complains about those who try to help him. My sister house where he lives, he says some truly awful things about them. He does not directly say anything to me but I hear his tantrums, my way of coping is to get busy cleaning something in another room or go to my car and study the Bible in quietness. I do not respond to him because I think that would be just what he would want. Could he be a narcissist.

@@joanncole9603 It is very possible that you're dealing with a narcissist if you have to "walk on egg shells" so as not to upset the individual. This person expects everybody to cater to their wants & needs & he never thinks about anybody else. There are lots of great You Tube video information. Dr. Les Carter & Dr. Ramani would be a good place to start educating yourself.

I was married to a Narcisst ..He belittle me in public and in our home. I just found out that I had Cancer and am fighting hard to live. I divorced him just to survive peace. I watch your videos during Chemo,in the hospital and at home by myself. I have learned so much from you and I thank you. I will continue to live in peace because being healthy and peace is the most important thing in life. My Faith in God keeps my strong. It angers me that any one would be that way to you. My mother used to say, “pray for that person. They are the one with the problem”. That’s very easy to say but until you are a victim of people that will target you, it’s hard to understand. You have been a true inspiration to me in so many ways. Yes your words are wise. I was married to a narcissist I finally walked away after 36 years. At that time I didn't realize until I walked away and I had nothing left in me to even give to myself. After 11 years now doing better. ❤❤

Your garden is so beautiful Tess…I don’t care what faith you follow, I watch you and Kate because your content nourishes my soul and leaves me with a lighter heart,a smile and encouragement. I’ve had panic disorder…..I say had because I’ve learnt how to manage it by changing the way I think , living a cleaner life and being mindful of who I let in my intimate circle. I’m an empath so I’m mindful of what I watch too.

Tessie your season resembles my season! We want to make our house/property as self sufficient as we can. We want to catch rainwater, grow our own food, raise our own food, can our food, use solar, and wood for heat! And like you I am only 54 so there is plenty of time to get this done! I love being debt free and able to pay our bills on next to nothing! Hubby use to work 56 hours every week and I worked 40 now only I work part-time. It is so refreshing!

I planted some echinacea last year and it's blooming this year, very pretty! I need to do some Foxtail too, that's beautiful.

@partinsheritagehomestead4981 I went through that for several years. I was older than those causing me feel distress and felt I was out of touch, unlikable and yes, unloveable. But it passes and, like Tessie, with hindsight, I realised that was their problem, not mine. I'd tried to be the best person I could for six decades and, if that was not good enough for them, then we should part ways. It took me days to get the courage to say our relationship was not good and I had decided it was over, but the release and piece has been phenomenal. God bless you. I know you are a great person. Stick with those who are able to see that.

I still can't figure out how she got her rock formations so perfect. I don't have her talent, but wish I did. You definitely have a green thumb. If God is for us , then who can be against us? I’ve been so affected by narcissists and at 65 have learned to run, not walk from them. I now can spot one a mile away. They thrive on the power they get from finding their narcissistic supply. I took charge of my life too, a later season than you but with many scars that I’m learning from. I enjoy being home, gardening, crafting, sewing, cooking, baking, reading and focus on what brings me happiness too. I’m an empathetic soul too and sadly narcissists thrive on our personalities. We have a choice…walk away from them and be who we are❤

I am thankful I ran across this video this morning. It encouraged me to try harder. At 62 , 10 years of loneliness, and the world seemingly falling apart,, some days I just don’t care anymore. I need to redirect that “energy,” in more positive ways. Thanks for sharing. You never know who it may help.

Tessie I can't even begin to tell you how happy this video made me. I am so so sorry that you had to encounter such nasty people. Those people should be ashamed of themselves, they know better than what they were doing. Nothing slips by God and when bad things his children are doing he decides on the type of discipline and the timing of the discipline. Nothing goes unnoticed. But you proved these people wrong and took your life back and I as a sensitive person myself had to do the same thing and it was hard. It didn't happen overnight but I just got to the point where enough was enough! I am excited to be on this journey with you and can't wait for other chapters in your life. Tessie you are such a sweet and honest person. These gifts you were given by God are gifts that no one can take away and I know you are a person who has to be true to her subs and herself. We get you and love you.
