Perhaps the wine in the glasses helped??? LoL. First time I've seen wine in a glass with Irish musicians.

I know this song as Forty Miles a Day on Beans & Hay. And Bonaparte Crossing the Rhine is a completely different tune in my repertoire. Interesting!

I don't know about that other tune, but yeah BCTR is a very different tune in my world... this is a fine tune and I think I have heard it before, the name u cite doesn't ring a bell for me, great tune name tho

Hot Asphalt is an old music hall song to the same tune. Kinda like Andy M. Stewart's Take Her in Your Arms is the same tune as the Otter's Holt.

cool -- but i think bonaparte is crossing the Rockies here, not the Rhine ( a different tune)

In America the US cavalry but lyrics to this tune and called it The Regular Army Oh
