Naples to Palermo | GNV Ferries | Vlog & ship tour
Welcome to my vlog; #Naples #Italy to #Palermo #sicily aboard the #GNV Blu, a 14hr voyage with plenty to do!
I start by showing you the beautiful sights of Naples, literally moments away from the ferry if travelling on foot - why fly and land miles away!!
The southbound voyage passed very quickly as there is plenty to do aboard.
Passenger facilities are located on decks 6, 7 and 8.
On Deck 6 one will find the ships reception - open 24/7, plus a sleeper lounge and cabins. Travelling with your pet dog? Pet friendly cabins are available along with kennels.
On Deck 7 one will find the dining areas; a 24hr café, Pizzeria, A la Carté Restaurant and self service - the later open for breakfast, lunch and dinner
Deck 8 boasts a truly MASSIVE shopping centre, far larger than I was expecting, sleeper seats and a bar with live entertainment which closes at 2300hrs.
On the upper deck there is an outside disco - a fantastic area for a few drinks as the sun goes down!

The good old Koningin Beatrix. Worked on her in 1986 when she was brand new on the Hoek van Holland -Harwich run. Stena surely changed her, apart from the rainbow paddles there is nothing of the original interior left. Thanks for uploading!

I remember running for the Palermo - Napoli ferry at the last minute over 10 years ago, thought I'd just miss it. We peds clustered around a lift on the car deck and were given an impromptu "safety briefing" then and there before being allowed up. The ship vibrated so hard the economy style seats were unusable for sleep. I was on deck most of the time, it was like being in space, pitch black. Loved seeing Vesuvio with the orange sun behind eight hours later. Met a girl on board too, didn't smash though

@@A2BviaSeaonTV it was one of the Tirrenia (or was it Tirennia) ships I believe. I could be wrong it's been ages lol. My uncle booked the ticket for me
