Inoue's footwork had been affected by weight loss many times in the past. He had it repeatedly in each weight class, but at 118 it was not good against Moloney and Butler. 122 is definitely the right weight for Naoya Inoue. We will see the best Inoue yet. It doesn't matter if Fulton is big or not, or if he is a type of opponent he has never experienced before! If Naoya Inoue stays injury free and gives 100%, he is no match for a B+ fighter at best.

Teddy is smart but he doesn’t spend the time the trainer does knowing his fighter and the trainer watches more tape about the opponent than teddy does so why would he take anything teddy has to say into his camp? If teddy is that smart he would be saying what the trainer already went over with the fighter the whole camp. And these videos are made the last week before the fight they aren’t making any adjustments at this time. If teddy found something that the trainer didn’t see the earliest they would bring that into the camp is during the fight when the original plan isn’t working.

Stephen Fulton is a great champion out Philadelphia, but his last knockout win was 4 years ago. He has a total of 8 KOs stopping only 38% of his inferior opposition, while "The Monster" has stopped 21 of 24 opponents at 87.5% KOs, which included 21 world championship bouts in a row. Please stop kidding yourself about this matchup. Fulton will need to brave and Naoya Inoue will need to kind after the bout ends prematurely. Inoue has faster feet, more power and far more accurate punching. However, it is his mental discipline and ring intelligence which will make this bout his greatest career victory.

you are a scholar of boxing. called it exactly, inoue with sharp body jabs, timing fulton. Fulton had a tiny bit of success with a few right hands when inoue finished his head to the right. But in the end it was an inoue stoppage with constant pressure. Fighters should just use your notes before the fight as revision notes.

@11:00 .. not sure if that's a good tactive vs Inoue. Would probably work if Fulton was more of a puncher, but that might lead to a quick night for Fulton. Since Fulton is bigger, he needs to punch then clench. Then let ref reset them.. He needs to make it a boring and ugly fight. Might lose some fans, but it'll win him the fight. @7:50 That's how Inoue got Donaire in the 2nd fight. It wasn't a left hook but Donaire was watching watching, got setup and was about to throw the right, but Inoue got him flush with a quick short right.

In the first donaire fight donaire broke Inoues right orbital bone and inoue fought with it the whole fight and still put on a masterclass and ko. Only reason it went the distance and could be why there was struggle sometime. Rewatch he had his right hand up over eye whole fight and was more cautious in punching. In rematch inoue kod donaire in the second round same round or orbital broke last time. Without power long night but Fulton might outclass inoue we gotta see

@@keenynthewise but man, inoue power is so superior that it just over shadows his boxing i.q, foot work and defense. Inoue is strategic in everything that he do, every move he makes is meant to do damage. I don't feel like fulton can out class him. Fulton has to fight a perfect fight to win. Inoue power stays all 12th rd and he don't get tired. Fulton looked gas in alot of his fights. I think inoue will destroy his body and when he's gas it's over. If Fulton feels inoue can ko him then fulton gonna run all night.

11:30 let's suppose Inoue does that move where he leans back and Fulton steps in and he's successful in getting two punches in. The punch is not going hurt Inoue and next time Inoue will trick him and counter him and it's going to be good night because he only needs one punch and since Fulton is going in, the punch is going to be twice as hard

It's an interesting fight,Inoue going up in weight (again). Going to be interesting if his power carries,i mean you'd think it would obviously, but you never know. Inoue has never fought a fighter like Fulton, he's never even watched much footage of Fulton fighting,so its a very intriguing fight. Fulton isn't the hardest puncher,so i think Inoue is going to be comfortable going toe to toe, which is the way he likes to fight. I think Fulton will fight defensive for the first 6 rounds, counter punch. Inoue will probs be tentative for the first few rounds, trying to figure out Fulton's style, then he'll be looking for the big power shots. Inoue by stoppage (body shot)..or Fulton on points in my opinion. If i was putting money on it.. I'd favour Inoue by stoppage.

Fulton is bigger than Inoue except the legs. Calves in particular. If you're wondering why Inoues KO ratio is higher, that's a good place to start. Fulton would be terrifying if he had that kind of power in his lower body. He doesn't tho and we'll see the difference rounds 6-12 if it goes that far

@paultyrell4149 it is true. Punching power starts from the ground up, think how much more powerful Wilder would punch if he didn't skip leg day in the weight room(a lot has to do with genetics though as well).

When Fulton sort of wades in, head up and forward, to put his body on his opponent, he generally gets away with it somehow. I can definitely see him getting clubbed with Inoue's super-compact check left, this time, though
