Naoya Inoue's Destructive Knockout Power

Спорт

Re-live some of #naoyainoue's best knockouts of his career so far. #boxing #boxinghighlights
Japan’s pound-for-pound hero is set to headline the biggest boxing event his country has ever seen. Undisputed junior featherweight world champion Naoya “The Monster” Inoue will defend all the belts against Mexican puncher Luis “Pantera” Nery on Monday, May 6 at the Tokyo Dome.
Inoue, a four-weight world champion and two-weight undisputed king, will headline at the iconic venue for the first time.
Inoue-Nery and three additional world title showdowns will stream live and exclusively in the U.S. on ESPN+ at 4 a.m. ET/1 a.m. PT. Australia’s WBO bantamweight world champion, Jason “Mayhem” Moloney will defend his belt against rising knockout artist and former kickboxing world champion Yoshiki Takei.
The world title quadruple-header also features WBA bantamweight world champion Takuma Inoue (19-1, 5 KOs), younger brother of Naoya, who defends his title against former world title challenger Sho Ishida (34-3, 17 KOs). And, in a flyweight world title tilt, newly minted WBA world champion Seigo Yuri Akui (19-2-1, 11 KOs) battles Taku Kuwahara (13-1, 8 KOs) in a rematch of their 2021 Japanese title bout, which Akui won by 10th-round TKO.

Who hates on him? I’ve never read a single bit of negative press about him and he appears to be pretty much in everyone’s top 3 pound-for-pound, which is quite an accolade for a guy from the lighter weights. Who exactly hates on him? I think he’s hugely respected.

If you look at the way the monster finishes his opponents, it’s completely different. He hunts them down with precision and accuracy added with the speed which creates more power on top of the power he already possesses. There maybe a few that can do what inoue does but he is a generational talent. A lot of people don’t know this but inoue started boxing when he was a toddler. His father was a formal boxer which explains why he is so damn great.

Bud won't be back until August. That's over a year layoff, and his next opponent is a B-class fighter at best. They're trying their best, but no matter how much they try to hype Madrimov, he ain't in the same league as Boots, Virgil Ortiz, Tim Tszyu, or even a Charlo! Inoue deserves to be P4P king!

Garcia missing weight is NOT the same as a dude taking PEDs. After Garcia missed weight by 3 pounds the two sides negotiated and came to terms for compensation. That's not on Garcia, I'm not even a big fan of his, stop dismissing Haney's agency as though he was forced into the fight. It's a shit excuse for a mid fighter who's been exposed.

What I've learned from Inoue is that the Filipino tolerance to liver shots is nuts. Like, when people get dropped by a clean liver shot, they don't get back up (my mind always flashes back to De La Hoya vs Hopkins). But Dasmarinas managed to get up twice (only to get put back down by a final liver shot, but still), and frickin' Donaire managed to get up AND finish the fight. In any case, Inoue's ability to take a person's soul with body shots is a thing of terrifying beauty.

@@jaydenrubi-marcelino6418even inoue himself sees tank as in the top p4p list . But yep too heavy and inoue and his team ain’t dumb enough to jump that much in weight classes just to please casual American fans . But I love both fights tank and inoue !

@@firechan5597tank is a fraud so i dont think he had the guts to even go down below 130 for a catchweight, he'll force inoue to go up, use it as advantage to slow him down lmao

Inoue could do 130 man he is dominate at 122 and I think he's dominate at 126 and could fight and succeed at 130 I'd like him vs loma if loma didn't mind coming back to 130
