    Always remember lefty loosy righty tighty when taking on n off bolts.And that was smart to loosen the screws on the hub motor before using the drill. Drill can strip the bolts. Good job!

    If you're taking things like this apart it can help to mark items using chalk, regular blackboard chalk, so as to avoid confusion later. Helps as you get older and doesn't add to theworkload.

    A little bit of copper grease on the threads next time. It will make it so much easier to undo the bolts.

    For street tires did you use 10x2.5 front and back or 10x2.5 front and 10x3.0 rear?

  • @ItsMallie

    @ItsMallie

    in this video i had both 10x2.5 but now i have a 10x2.5 in the front and a 3.0 in the back but i recommend you just get both 2.5 because 3 isn't any different since the rim is just going to squeeze it

    Just changed both inner tubes and tires on my D6+, now I have a balancing issue the wheels seem to wobble and cause a vibration at speeds above 30, I've put some weights on there and its fixed it a bit but not too bad, did you encounter this issue?

  • @ItsMallie

    Nah when i put my tires on there will smooth. i thought tires would only wobble or rumble if there where sitting on your scooter for to long and the tires at the bottom become a little flat or unbalanced.

    Is it normal that my offroad original new tires on the new nanrobot d6+ are installed not in the direction of the arrow? Guy in the store claim that they coming from the factory installed this way but it is hard for me to understand this

    the last time i removed the bolts and it wouldn't come off is because there was alot of air in the inner tube causing it to tighten up so you might have to some of the air out

    @Its Mallie! I heard that you can't put tubless tires on split rims because it will go flat from a few youtubers and e-scooter shops. Only practical alternative is a solid tire for a split rims at least.. This all because I keep getting snake bite flats from the tubes..

  • @ItsMallie

    @ItsMallie

    Жыл бұрын

    @@Chris-Shift4 actually yeah that makes since. i forgot the rims do split so there probably is no proper seal for the air to stay in. The tubes to these scooters a very very thin so getting a flat is a bit to easy

    @@ItsMallie So Do not put a tubeless tire or solid tire on the model scooter from the video. The tubeless tire won't hold air unless you change the motor to single solid rim design (like most scooters).. which is difficult and expensive because of the split rim built with motor design that the scooter currently has. so inconvenient changing the tire tubes all the time because I so heavy the tire tube pops quickly. I have actually changed the screws so that I can use a phillips head with the impact driver. It much faster doing all 12 screws. The solid tire design is also an awful Idea because of how bumpy the ride will be. The traction is also terrible. Above 20mph I felt like the scooter was going to wipe out under me. I would wheel wobble and skid side to side. Not to mention I had to buy longer screws.. the ones that hold the split rims together to accommodate the new tire. I drilled it tight and made sure that the tire was flush and even and after only one ride not only was experiencing a bumpy ride on the normal street. On the very first ride the tire popped off the from the rim. I walked the rest of the block home. :(...KEEP THE TIRE TUBE and make sure tire, tire tube and rim is clean and in good condition on the inside especially. Checking Tire PSI frequently made my tires last months instead of weeks. Maybe lube tire tube a little on the inside.
