The band's name is a pun on Manowar and Rhapsody of Fire. They are from Rome, Italy. They started in the early 2000s with parody metal songs (changing lyrics to famous metal songs, like "master of puppets" becoming "master of pizza") and then evolved into writing their own original comedy metal songs. They've parodied a lot of metal subgenres. A lot of their songs are in English, but their last album was almost entirely in Italian and included a song about frozen fish sticks and a song about football stadium chants in the Lord of the Rings's world. Some of their best songs with English lyrics are Uranus, And then I noticed that she was a Gargoyle, quest for Carrefour, Ironmonger, Norwegian Reggaeton (partially in Spanish), Barbie MILF princess of the twilight, Vegan velociraptor.

The best part of Nanowar of steel, as silly as any song they release is, every song really slaps. Other fun places to go with nanowar's music are Norwegian Reggaeton, Uranus, And then I noticed that she was a Gargoyal

They aren't even full time musician. All have regular jobs... and bad ass jobs too! One is an astrophysicist or stuff like that, but all of them are like engineers or big brain stuff of that sort. You definitely have to see more!

Well, a reference, I guess. Especially in the case of Rhapsody, it's more of a friendly jab than a tribute; they added "of Steel" to their logo in quick MS Paint scribbles as reference to the fact Rhapsody had to change their name and make it longer because they had issues getting a trademark for a single word.

Every dude, at the end ... I challenge ANYONE to say men have no empathy watching that guy be UNANESTHETICALLY RIPPED from Valhalla.
