The Swiss Santa is actually Thomas Winkler [Angus McFife XIII] of Glory Hammer, a Scottish Hard / Heavy Rock Metal Band.

I've seen a few people react to that line, but not nearly enough. It is very easily to miss lines on the first listen through, though. Actually, I only get the joke because of someone who reacted to it...

This was not a commercial for IKEA, and moreover the band went on tour IN IKEAs, but... without IKEA partnership, so they got kicked out every time 😂

Nothing better to break the clichés of a genre as passionate as metal, especially power and black metal, than to laugh at the bands that call themselves "true metalheads". They are good musicians and know that they are a band of pure joking, that they're not going to supplant anybody of the scene. Their only intention, regardless of who may regret it, is to make people laugh and have a good time. In Spain we have the band Reno Renardo, just the same idea but with lyrics in Spanish. Nice reaction guys!!

Hey, nice video, it's so great to see people enjoy this as much as I did when I first saw them :) Nanowar of Steel is btw an Italian comedy metal band, they even have some songs in Italian (IF you know Giorgio Mastrota, they have a song about him) one of my favorites is "And then I noticed that she was a gargoyle"

Also "Angus McFife" is the guy playing Odin, he's the amazing singer of Gloryhammer, another power metal band that was formed with the goal to make the cheesiest cliché power metal possible (and doesnt take itself seriously) - a great band to react to as well, they have a couple neat (and silly) official videos out :)

Actually, FALEGN-AMEN is an italian words joke: FALEGNAME means "carpenter", so it is linked to furniters and staff like that, and of course with IKEA. And AMEN is an international word, so it is no necessary to explain the joke, now.

I have never actually bought anything from IKEA, but this sing inspired me to seriously consider advertising my help putting together other people's IKEA furniture as a side gig (for whenever I finally get a job). Taking things apart and putting them together is one of my few practical skills... P.S., react to their song "And Then I Noticed That She Was a Gargoyle." Not enough people react to that one.

Nanowar of Steel are awesome. Norvegian Reggeaton, Ironmonger are hilarious too, but this is the best one. You missed half of the jokes, watch it again, you’ll laugh again. 🤣😂

From what I've heard, this was so much not an Ikea commercial that the band has been kicked out of multiple Ikea stores for performing the song live without permission.
