Nanotechnology is not simply about making things smaller | Noushin Nasiri | TEDxMacquarieUniversity
Nanotechnology is the future of all technologies. it is a platform that includes biology, electronics, chemistry, physics, materials science and engineering. Although nanotechnology is the study of ultra-small structures, it not simply about making things smaller for the sake of it. It is because the game of science has different rules when you play it in the nanoscale. Noushin Nasiri received her PhD in Nanotechnology following which she continued working on nanostructured materials for health, energy and environmental applications. In 2018, she joined the Macquarie University School of Engineering as a lecturer and group leader. Her research lies at the intersection of science, technology and engineering. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

I really like how you deliver the topic, it is so relaxing and very informative. Thank you for sharing this important thing about Nano technology that can save millions of billions of life. Hope to know more and learn more again from you or form one of your company you're in.
This is a fantastic explanation of what nanotechnology actually is! Most videos just explain what it does or bow It can be used. It's quick and to the point, and I really liked the presentation and the audio too.
Very well said, it lightened up my mind about the importance of nanotechnology in our everyday lives. It also reminds us to think out of the box and transform weaknesses into an opportunity. All in all, always remember that modern technology is a creation that can save our future generation. Thank you for this informative speech.
Wow. Brilliant delivery by Noushin Nasiri. Love the combination of science and humor.
It's a humorous and well-informed presentation of how a nanotechnology can be such a great study for the future. It is not confusing for whoever watch this video because of the dynamics on how she explained it from general to specific and also, everyone can easily imagine it because of the accurate visual examples. I'm so grateful that I've watched it.

Wow! It's a combination of humor + science it was realy great and interesting .very detailed and clear explanation. And the fact that it has new rules and could make a huge breakthrough on all fields of science nanotechnology is on different level.
It's nice to hear from you what nanotechnology is. I'm looking forward for your other interesting topics related to nanotechnology so I can learn more.
The way of representing the concept is fabulous and I easily understand the topic Good work Noushin Nasiri👍
this video is great and inform people didnt actually know about a nano technology and its importance.
Amazing talk. Thank you so much, Prof. Nasiri.
Awesome stuff! Great video! Thank you for making such a strong contribution to the world for the explanation nanotecnology.
Very impressive and informative! Thanks for sharing your knowledge with nanotechnology. This is truly an inspiration to young inventors who want to make an innovation.
Quite impressive, entertaining & insightful talk by the lecturer. No dull moments
You are good researcher and an awesome teacher. Hats off and God bless you.
Great explain about nanotechnology ....
Thank you for a very informative and motivational video, may it inspire other and future innovators to appreciate nanotechnology.
This is a legendary lesson contained ted talk thats why only legends (45k) viewers from the whole world watched this ted talk
Thank you for such a splendid talk about nanotechnology. The video is full of insight and knowledge regarding the topic that can inspire young innovators and entrepreneurs to create technology on a nanoscale that someday their invention will contribute to the world.
This is indeed a wonderful and informative video, this enlightens me of what a nanotechnology really is. I love how it was explained, simple but it gives you already an idea and you will be able to visualize it by listening. Thank you for making this video.
very well said, I enjoyed watching your presentation because of your humor and I gained new knowledge about what's nanotechnology lastly, I love it how you explained it briefly, well done.
I love this video because I've learn a lot of knowledge about nanotechnology
It was a very good scientific lecture and many gates will be opened to mankind. Thank you so much for sharing with us.

YES! The future is so bright. Extremely excited.
This video is wonderful it's talk about his life how nanotech change it it also teach me how how nanotech works
Great speech with very nice and stimulating questions! Thank you Prof. Nasiri to bring the fascination of Nanotechnology on this platform. Moreover, I hope many people would enjoy the topic, especially girls. Percentage of women in STEM is still low, but watching videos like this one makes me optimistic about the future. I think you are a good role model for young girls who look up to you. I didn't know you, I admit it. But I am glad I ran into you and I'll start following you on Linkedin to be update about your research. Thank you very much for giving me hope about my academic goals. Good luck with yours!
It was an honor to hear those information and knowledge about the nanotechnology. When you said that your father is an agricultural engineer it gives me more interest in your speech as I also walking on the same path. The visuals for more vivid explanation are impressive and so you are the speaker herself. It will means alot to those who have the eagerness to bring innovation to the world. I'm rooting for the success of your every plan.

Hi
What a clarity. Hats of madam
Very inspiring, thank you.
At first it’s quite funny for it is right that curiosity will lead you to other world. Yes, you will question reality about things but soon when your curiosity turns into ideas and that ideas turns into plans and that plans will soon turns into action there you will create another very beautiful thing. Just like nanotechnology, it may be a very very small particle but it has a very big impact. And thank you very much for sharing us about it and inspiring us to not settle on one thing but to seek more.
this video has information about science, and it gives us knowledge about nanotechnology
Wow so proud, love and peace from Iran💗
One of the best introduction for nanotechnology I ever heard.. ( science+humor)
Great way to deliver.salute

very powerful presentation
Great.... Nice way of the expression and explanation...
Great presentation skills.
Learned so much and gained so much clarity in so small a timeframe... It was like Nano learning... is that a Thing?😊😂

Cracking talk, thanks.
Very well explained
Really loved it.
so happy i switched to study nanoscience
Fabulous amazing! Luv ya loads❤❤❤
Very informative ....
I'm still confused about the flight paradox. Is it really takes more hr to reach a place than the time difference
She's so good!
this was so amazing!!!
Very good and informative lecture
Presentation teach us how to visualize or understand the difference of standard size to microscopic size and how it works.
wow this was amazing
wow it's amazing
thanks for the inspirational message about Nanotechnologies, I think in the near future some researchers will be able to create Nanotechnologies to help our lives.

I need her to be my teacher, she explains stuff very well!
This video is such an awesome eye-opener on how we can attain so much improvement for humanity and the world through the study of nanoparticles and production of nanotechnologies. The concept of nanoparticles was greatly explained, from general of specific which is easy to get even for someone with mediocre to no knowledge about this, even a kid might get this. Thank you for sharing this informative presentation and the humor you expressed.
For making science fun❤
Amazing
the cameraman keeps zooming in on her face & amidst processing all the wonders of science my brain is whoa she's pretty :P
How long would I have to wait to get nanobots around me (also under my control)
proud of you

You’re father was a genius! 🤯
Noushin Nasiri I fell in love with You ! You are fantastic ! Love, John
I suppose this is good as a 101 introduction if you havent heard of it. However it is quite simplistic considering this technology is already being abused in malicious ways.
well i think people might be excited but if you complain study is tough then i would like to tell nano science is toughest science , at least yet . so dont choose nano science in your college okay until you love hard work and science
