i doubt that's gonna happen because Nintendo knows what everyone named their rival in the Past Games so i think they're not gonna add that Function anymore Since The Kalos Games

I name my rival God cuz beating him at the end of the game means that I've surpassed God

Ya know, I kinda feel bad for Blue, Silver, Barry and Hugh ( Cuz' those are the Rivals you can name). Seriously I gave these guys the worst names ever😂 lemme run through them real quick: We got : Assface ( Blue) Butthole(Silver) Dirt( Barry) Cuz' Berries grow on ground, and ground equals dirt And of course PFWL (Hugh) its an acronym, it stands for: Puffer fish with legs ( Hugh's hair style looks like a Qwilfish and Qwilfish is a Puffer fish)

I know,and that did make me hold a grudge against Silver and Blue tbh.I actually named my rivals after my brother and friends;because We would always have rivalries against one-another.Also,it helped make everything feel all-the-better when I beat my rivals...

I never named them swear words (or any sort of insults) either, but that's probably cause my naming scheme for Pokemon has always been focused around giving them the names of characters from other series (fanmade or not).

This was because my player in Black was called Matt, and it also tied in with my rival's name from Platinum. My ID numbers for Platinum and Black 2 also only differ by one digit, being 16334 and 16324 respectively. Additionally, Platinum was released in the UK where I live during May, Matt Stone's birth month, while Black and White 2 were released during October, Trey Parker's.)
