    I can do 60mph on my 150cc scooter but I also have a motorcycle license and my scooter is registered and insured I don't think a electric scooter that dies that speed is not only unsafe but the legality is questionable at best if you plan on buying this check with the DMV first

    What are the best brake upgrades for the nami burn e2 max? My one the brakes have a 2cm dead zone! Which means the levers have to be really far away from the grips… I want no dead zone like like my mountain bike so I can make the levers really close… cheers guys for any help :)

Eco mode will be in effect until I get acquainted with my new PEV. The Burn E definitely interests me and I may want to add it to my PEV stable in the future. @@AlienRides C'mon... don't give credit when it's not due. They stuffed up big time and for the price people have paid for it the faults you pointed out are inexcusable. I'm not sure why everyone is trying to hype up this scooter. Clearly it was pushed out far too quickly and carelessly. Their QC was extremely poor and it shows. Especially for a very EXPENSIVE scooter. Having a carbon fiber tube doesn't make this thing special. Carbon fiber is the standard on most bicycles now and I'm talking about full carbon frames that start from about $1000 upwards. Those of you who got it for free to review will no doubt promote it but you are doing the industry a disservice by trying to make up excuses for them. Just my honest opinion. Oh and c'mon if you think it looks great you must have bricks in your head. It looks horrible like as if it was still in it's first pre-production stage and still has a long way to go before selling to the general market which by that time would have changed considerably. Sorry to all you folks who bought one (I know you will most likely try to justify your spend) but I honestly think you have all been ripped off. Good luck with the warranty in the future too....

  • @AlienRides

    @@rdp8545 I was purely talking about how they now package on pallets, which is what they probably should’ve done in the beginning. As for looks, that’s subjective, but I don’t disagree with anything else you said. We tried to make a balanced review here.

  • @rdp8545

    @rdp8545

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@AlienRides I wasn't having a go at you at all and I think you gave it a balanced review which pointed out its flaws. Hence why I think for $4500 people are being ripped off. And lets not beat around the bush, the QC process was very poor because you clearly pointed out some of them. I personally wouldn't be happy if I bought I bicycle for that price and it had numerous flaws. I'd also be very skeptical about their "carbon" as the Chinese manufacturers have been caught out over and over again producing extremely weak carbon frames for various imitation branded bikes. I was a professional cyclists and we saw heard many horror stories about bikes essentially falling apart due to the poor quality carbon. No-one makes carbon better then those in Europe. Your review was good but I don't buy into the fact it was fedex to blame for the way many of these turned up at peoples doorstep. I think the company didn't package them properly and I also think the QC went out the door because they couldn't keep up with demand. It's been easy to blame the shipping companies but I bet my bottom dollar the issues started from the manufacture's warehouse. I also believe they won't even try to seek compensation from Fedex because the blame rests with the manufacturer and they know it. Time will tell as at some point we will see if they take litigation against Fedex. Anyone want to wager that they won't? :) Keep up the good work as I love your reviews and of course my opinions are just that. My own opinions. If I'm wrong I'll be happy to say so later on.

    @Alien Rides do you have a significant notch at steering center that you feel going lock to lock? It is being considered as a feature and others saying it’s the bearings and others saying it will loosen over time. It makes riding very difficult and the notch it nearly pulls steering to center. Any issues with yours?

  • @AlienRides

    @AlienRides

    3 жыл бұрын

    This comment got flagged somehow, and jsut saw it. I actually typically don't mind a center-facing notch, which is a bearing issue, but on our nami it's actually off-center which is no good. I don't think any notching issues will be fixed over time, but likely worsen. You can probably remove it with some proper engineering of the bearing assembly, but it might be tricky.
