Ayy, we're using the same setup, although I prefer the electric hammer. R2 charged attack with the bramble handle is amazing. The final boss is way easier compared to Laxasia 2nd phase.

I did try the puppet axe/bramble much much earlier in this play through and didn't like it as much. It was a trade off on speed and stamina.

Alternatively you can just use Aegis to continuously block his attacks and attack while doing so. While either parrying or dodging his fury attacks. Wash rinse repeat guarantee you can’t lose unless you run out of legion
