⁠​⁠​⁠@@FinW.may not be the first thing a lot of people think of, but i think it is somewhat common knowledge that the indian subcontinent is very populated. bengali is spoken by bangladeshis and indians and urdu is spoken by pakistanis and indians. all three of these countries have big populations and pretty large diasporas so it makes sense! as for the yoruba thing, nigeria does have more people than bangladesh, but one must remember that not everyone in nigeria speaks yoruba. nigeria is quite diverse and has many other languages like hausa and igbo. on the other hand, basically all bangladeshis speak bengali and then another 100 million indians do as well.

Something I've noticed about these challenges is that you can glean how someone thinks and even a bit of their culture just from what they answer first. People who answer Mandarin first usually are from the East Hemisphere or their family is from the East Hemisphere in the past few generations and they are often people who spend a lot of time learning general knowledge and view themselves are incredibly smart, and usually are, due to their time investment. People who asnwer English are more likely white or native to the Western Hemisphere and they tend to either be naturally intelligent or average or below intelligence, but usually somewhat unsure of themselves, even if they fit the category of natural intellectual brilliance

It probably is. Urdu isn’t exactly a separate language. Both Hindi and Urdu are both standardized varieties of the Hindustani language.
