6 - Dragon Fly Visions of Rage is probably the most played 1991 tune OF ALL TIME. Been listening to a load of 1991 mix tapes and it is in virtually every single set. I would go as far as to say I think it's might have been in all of them.

Absolutely beautiful evocative tune. Takes me right back. In a few regards it was a precursor to the later style of Hardcore Junglism which became Jungle. So, so many memories.

Track 4 contains elements of Rachael Wallace track called tell me why

I don't think this is old, it does sound like Beverley Craven but the sample is too clean to be early 90s as the beat suggests and the piano isn't from the original song, sounds more like a happy hardcore piano and chord progression. The dj is probably also the producer on this one. Maybe Stormski, Innercore, Stu&Nee?🤷 Also, look for "Loosing Track Of Time", a lot mixes (especially ones with full chorus) use that... And if you find it, let me know 'cause I'd like a copy.🕺

Tune 2 - I've heard part of this same vocal sample in a breaks tune by Subwave called 4am from about 10-15 years ago

1. Release - dance in eden 2. I'm sure is a release from the 2010's 3. No idea. 4. Hardcore breaks from the 2010's. 5. Something by the invisible man I think. 6. Dunno 7. Not a clue but awesome track! 8. No idea. I've not done well there.

The MC on tune 7 is Conrad.

Track 2 4am - To me it sounds like the piano sections are similar to sections of Outer Rhythm - Piano Madness (1995). The full version of the 4am bootleg is on YT, I really like it. Does anyone happen to know roughly when the Wigan Pier version of this song came out please???

Track 4 might one of the Space Ear tracks, nu skool mash ups of Hardcore very much in the vain of Dave Charlesworth's Energizers. There's a series of them called 'Generalizers", they're not on Discogs or released as far as I know...not even sure who made them. They're from around 2008-2010 (I think?!). I have to have lunch and go to work (Western Australia here), but I'll check when I get home and report findings. If it is indeed what I suspect, I will command renumeration in the form of 20 gold coins (chocolate..) for such a needle in a haystack!! :P

Track 4 has yolk bish bosh samples?

Some quality tracks on there mate, I’ve got an ID request myself that I’ll write here for now. I’m looking for the ID of a tune that has a piano very similar to 2-Xtreme’s That Piano Track but not quite the same and the piano sounds a bit more synthetic, has a chopped up apache break and and chopped up amen break, seems to sample the drums from Run DMC - Beats To The Rhyme in the intro and I think has the same vocal sample as Orca - My Brothers but it could have been the DJ cutting it in, it also has a few breakdowns with the Tuff Crew - Hittin’ Hard Ball break but again I think this could have been the DJ cutting another tune in. Heard it on an Eruption Radio mix in early 2023 and it could very well be a modern tune made to sound like it came out in ‘93. Not to be confused with DJ Ham’s Most Uplifting, though that is also a quality track. Thanks in advance to anyone who’s read this and can help, much love peeps.
