Awesome guys, this is so cool. I'm very happy to see and hear my Laney NAM model being used to it's full potential in the NAM player pedal =) Sounds like you had a cool day testing everything out =)

DIY TDA7293 based. very natural & clean. I also use it to create CAB IRs.

@@dimehead did you build that poweramp from a kit? i have a HCC15-3-A+G that i got from Digikey a while ago and use it for powering an old Studiomaster mixer (15V DC). i am researching now to see if i have also use to power one the less expensive TDA7293 Amplifiers on Amazon. the specs seem to line up but i am still looking into. one person mentioned to use an adequate heat sink. any suggestions on that? i love how awesome this sounds. i figure it would also sound great with my unpowered kemper. thanks brian

@@daddyslittlejunkies @dimehead Hey there! Actually, the amp is completely DIY and built from scratch as part of a much older project. It's integrated after an attenuator for tube amps, with an effects loop sitting after the choke. So guess what? It's not just any old passive attenuator setup - it can even upscale the power output of small tube amps to stage level! Perfect for those moments when your beloved 5w SE tube amp just isn't cutting it for stage or full band rehearsal. But with the NAM all that is rendered obsolete. Now you just load the profile of that tiny 5 SE amp into your NAM and plug into the power amp section. It's just like the most neutral amp dimehead had at hand for testing and demoing. ;)

@@fuzzaldryn9626 Sorry for being thick here. I saw this in the description: "NAM player (Laney GH30 model) → solidstate poweramp → guitar box → google pixel 7a" Since @dimehead replied above: "DIY TDA7293 based. very natural & clean. I also use it to create CAB IRs." I assumed that the 'solidstate poweramp' was based on the TDA7293 and out of the into a cab and the audio we hear in the video is from the google device. Is what you described what makes up the 'guitar box' above or is that just a cabinet. It sounds like from the 2nd to last sentence it is indeed simply as described in the description since NAM renders all of the setup obsolete. I was looking at creating something similar for my Unpowered Kemper. I understand that the poweramp is not the reason for this video but geesh that sounded so good, it got my thinking about building one with that PSU i already own. Brian

@@daddyslittlejunkies To put it simple: NAM -> TDA7293 based Solidstate Amp -> Speaker Cabinet
