I really envy him. I wish I could do that too but my cat doesn’t like strangers and travelling is horror for her (to the vet for example). I am also not a fan of camping. I would need a shower and a bed every night and travelling alone as a woman would also not be very wise...

Yes, they are a perfect match. 👍 And I just realized that at this point Dean and Nala were more or less straight across the sea (the Adriatic) from Bosnia. 🌊🌞

@@MH-tn3pp No! Nala is a door-opener for Dean. Without her, he wouldn't have this much subscriber, barely over 40k, I guess. And - most people comming to these videos want to see cat's perspective of such a journey. and - you can clearly see, the cat enjoys the trip as well. Without him, she would have never seen so many places. Believe me, there also animals have different characters. And Nala is and explorer. And - he let her so much room as well, to be a cat when she wants to be.

I love watching Nala sitting in her basket taking everything in. She looks like she is fascinated by the changing scenery.

It’s adorable how Nala has a toy in her basket. The centipede toy is the favourite but, silly me, I kinda miss seeing her toy giraffe. It’s great that you can avoid the steep roads by taking the train. San Marino was agony for you. Kisses to Nala!

Glad to hear that you're taking the train. I don't think my legs can take watching you cycle up another hill !!!

( That can of soup probably filled him up ), looked like it had alot of stuff in it, plus when your exercising all the time you don't actually get that hungry, I know I'm like that after I've worked out at the gym.

Dean you really need to wear a helmet. Especially on a main road.. I remember the helmet on the back of his bike right until he was in Austria during lockdowns. Haven't seen it since. I do worry about them on the busy roads.

Exceptional drone work, love the music in tune with cycling 🚴‍♂️ Best of all are the flat cycle paths, gives the legs a rest.. Next some train travel! Princess Nala having the best outdoor life. ❤😻❤

I hope you give Nala a "spot on" on a regular basis against flees and ticks, they can bite you too and transmit worms on Nala as well. They are no fun. Stay safe!!

Dean a bit of warning you picked possibly the worse place for spending the night. Stay away from Pescara or get into a hotel. Don't loose sight of Nala or your bike until you are on that train.

@@Uma.Spirit Yes I live 100 km away from Pescara. Folks from Abruzzo region are nice and honest, but Pescara is a sh*thole full of all sorts of ruffians.

I hope you can get the train instead of sloggin uphill again. Hey I know youi' re not anywhere near the Australian leg of your trip, but the bug bites made me remember: Australia has ticksm, like everywhere else, but their ticks cause paralysis in animals. They lose control of legs and respiratory muscles. Untreated, it's often fatal. So something to keep in the back of your mind when the day comes you get Down Under!

The same in Russian forest areas. You have to get vaccinated against ticks to be safe. It's actually a must for many jobs that are related to high grass or forest areas

Admire the inventive bridge spot. At first, I thought it was brave even for your seasoned self. But nice to know you were more safely "locked-in". And had a great sleep! I imagine after a while you take it all in your stride and have a good feel for spots. BTW plenty of NIR light there today. Supposed to be very healthy!

Europe has a great train railroad system and cheaper too

Hi Andrea. I understand. Italy is more congested. Laws vary. Not always amenable for Dean n his kitty. We love him camping 'far from the madding crowd'. I'm 82. Liverpool UK 💌🏕️🐈 ps Spain has high Sierras and heat

Seeing all the vehicles Dean has to fight off is always stressful, but he says his mom doesn't worry so I suppose we should have the same confidence. But he really should check in every day since we worry anyway😁. He had no idea how many mom's he was going to end up with!!

Nala was a thirsty kitteh!

When you said you didn't know where you camped you were somewhere between Guilanova and Roseto degli Abruzzi . I visit that area, hire a bike and cycle the same cycle path - Love that area. Glad you are taking the train to the opposite coast - those hills would have been too much with your set up. You probably got bitten by a sand fly - they give big itchy bites there. Looking forward to see if your bike is allowed on the train or not. Only some trains allow bikes.

The Adriatic coast can be very pleasant in winter when the weather is nice. I am surprised you didn t have a swim, the sea over there is almost bearable, temperature wise, in winter. Have a safe trip with the train, you made the right decision, there are mountains in the way and definitely ice and intense cold..and of course endless steep uphills..

Very fine little miss Nala, and also very fine Scott, Mr. Dean traveling together and bring so much joy to many people, some of them stuck in home. How hard has to work on this bike Mr. Dean ! I am happy to see him traveling in car or train ! But it is all about traveling, not as much as destination. We get there, when we get there. With wind an sun in eyes, sweet smelling Nala's fur, for pure joy to be a live. The Hell with politicians and propaganda ! Life is around us, let's use it, smartly !

Opening the can of food usually seems to be a case of "should you eat it or did you eat it" 🤔 😆, great video as always. Safe journeys.
