Hey sir. My same unit look like missing the film for the Vu light meter. The color is different. Do you know is that the film in front of the panel. I just wonder what is look like. Thanks
Where is your test box to program default values in the CPU? You need that for this deck. Anytime you touch the heads, adjust bias or levels, you must have the unit in test mode or it will not auto-cal properly. You need to tell the CPU that the adjusted values are "Correct".

This test box is not programming CPU, it just sends commands to set min/max values for BIAS/levels to tune them up. I will use it in the next part. Also, I highly recommend watching my previous restoration videos on a similar model. THis will remove most of your questions.
so how much did that job cost if someone wants in 2023?
